Luckily I moved with Z Movers again! After my great experience with my last move, I obviously called Z Movers again. Peter gave me an estimate and scheduled my move on the Saturday I wanted to move.Before the move, Peter brought me their green standard boxes, which made it really easy for me to pack up all my smaller stuff as I don't keep random moving boxes around my house. The movers were at my house on time (ever heard of movers being on time?), they all (team of 3) seemed to be in a great move and excited to help me with my move. They loaded all the green boxes first then then loaded my bigger pieces and furniture. They made sure they wrapped everything fragile in blankets and loaded it in the truck without breaking anything or leaving any marks.After everything was done, there were no additional charges. I keep hearing about moving companies which offer unbelievably cheap prices and then hit you with all those extra charges when they are done. Don't forget: legally they can keep your belongings and not unload them until you pay them what they think you owe them! Thank you, Z-Movers for making me hate moving less :)

I am not sure how this company has so many five star ratings because my experience was fairly terrible.-Setting up the appointment was quick, easy and efficient.  However, everything went down hill from there-Scheduled an early appointment because I had to work within a pretty tight timeline.  Appointment was set for 8:00am, great-Movers showed up 1.5 hours late-Packing, wrapping and moving felt pretty unprofessional.  I had a lot of concerns with how they were handling my items.  I could hear one of the movers simply tossing and dumping my stuff into their cart.  This was happening while I was standing there so it makes me wonder how they handled my goods when I was not around-Unsurprising they damaged one of my lamps, plus had to quickly repair a small table leg that somehow came apart.  Everything they moved went into storage so I have no idea if anything else broke along the way.  By the time I find out, it will probably be too late-Their insurance policy is $0.60 per pound.  So hypothetically if they broke your 20 lbs TV they will probably try to pay you $12.00.-Tried to over charge me by stating their 3 hour minimum was for work time only and did not include driving.  I have used other companies before which always considered driving time as part of their minimum-Calculated the rate incorrectly, initially charging me more.  Fortunately, I caught the error and did the math myself.  Glad, I did not simply pay-As a means to make amends for damaging my belongings they allowed me to pay only the hours that I was quoted for and removed the deceptive extra hour up charge.  So I ended up with damaged goods and essentially zero compensation.-Use caution with these movers, good luck if you choose to use them

Not sure why the rave reviews. The price was pretty steep but I figured it was worth the extra $ to get a five star service. The TWO men they sent out were pretty efficient but with some gripes, one, they were LATE. I mean 45 minutes late. Luckily they ended up getting packed before my estimate. Two, there is a large bookshelf in my home. I built it inside a room, and wouldnt fit back out the door. I told them again and again please just loosen the top screws and the entire thing will bend easily in a parallelogram shape (Which other movers have had NO PROBLEM WITH). So the time comes for them to unload it to the new place, and they just cannot get it. They spent 20-30 minutes trying to figure it out, even after I told them OVER and OVER how to do it. They took off the ENTIRE TOP of the shelf!!! And spent so much time putting it back on...Wasted time. One of them scraped the chair on the floor and left a scuff mark on the bamboo floor where I moved into. All in all it was ok. But for the money it was not great, and they should have sent three people for security, knowing they would have to unload in an apartment in the heart of LA, where things are easily stolen. Many times BOTH movers were in an elevator with the truck wide open. I am glad I was keen enough to stand on the balcony to watch the truck.Not sure why its 5 stars, I will return to All-in movers next time, who were always on time, and much cheaper. (I paid 395 BEFORE TIP for a 1br apartment move. Ive never paid this much before, last time I went through 1br plus storage was 275, into my 3br house was 320...)

After a year and a half, I moved and called Z Movers up again. They were great my first move from WeHo to Burbank, so I was sure I wanted them to help my move this time around. They even gave me a loyalty discount for using them a second time! I highly recommend them to everyone - they're quick, professional, always on time, protect all furniture and items. Very nice and they get back to you very quickly with a competitive quote. Very happy with my move with them! Original Review: I found Z Movers on Yelp and called them (as well as two other moving companies) for a quote to compare the prices. Competitive price, and they answered my call immediately. They were very nice and explained how the whole moving process works over the phone. They were available the day and time I wanted, and showed up at my door the exact minute they said! I only had to move my one bedroom's furniture, but they disassembled everything and loaded the truck in only one hour! So quick and efficient! They were very helpful and careful with all my stuff and even helped move some of the previous owner's furniture to make the whole moving process seamless. Highly recommend!

Since Z Movers did such a great job last time, I booked them to move me again.  Fast, easy, and professional!  Definitely recommend them :D
