Very  very bad moving company service and not professional at all , they lack of communication between sales person and the person who authorization.I order this moving company on tuesday and i gave them moving date on sunday and confirm what time i want to starting  move and they agree,they said they will confirm on saturday.On saturday Dan called me and said they will come different time which is earlier that the time that we agree for.And he said that that the only time they can start,which I was not available at that time.if they can't do the time that i wanted, then i wouldn't using this moving company.Luckily  i found the other moving company better than this one and much cheaper price and professional .

VERY ANNOYING!  I am moving to Hunnington Beach and I had called a couple different moving companies to request quotes. This Morning at 7:00 am  this Company called me 4 times off of different numbers and once on Private!  Ultimately I decided to not involve a Moving Company and just rent a truck and have some friends help move, when I tried to explain he kept cutting me off and interrupting me.Even if I decide to hire a Moving Company I WILL NOT be using this Company.

We needed a moving company, since the other we had previously booked was gonna go ahead and under a storm try to move all of our stuff. VIP with 2 days of anticipation squeezed us in their schedule. The process to book it over the phone was easy and the guy who helped us made it even easier. Today I received a call from the crew 30 minutes before arriving, even when they starting inspecting the apartment they where already bringing stuff down. They followed all our instructions covered the furniture with moving blankets, tape was free and our furniture was taken care of really well. Jose, Alberto and Noel where great! Respectful, efficient, and careful with all of our stuff. While unloading to the new house they would put shoe coverings on every time they went in. Put every piece on the second or first floor in the rooms we needed them. No hidden charges but what they stipulate. Paperwork to sign easy and no tricky fine print.The truck was spacious enough. Overall a great experience, we are grateful for changing moving companies!!!!

This is by far the worst experience I've had with a moving company.  That's saying a lot because I've lived in 4 states and moved about 15 times in the last 30 years.I guess the whole thing started out with a mistake of mine.  You see, I had used Xpress Movers for 3 times over the last 10 years and I was always satisfied with their service and pricing.  When we were planning our move this time, I called the number off the previous invoice and the person answering the phone said "VIP Relocation".  I told her I was calling for Xpress Movers and she said they had bought out that company.  I should have hung up and Yelped the new company.  But I didn't.  There's so much to do with the move and I just went ahead and booked their service.The movers showed up on time, which earned the 1 star (since I couldn't give them 0 star anyway).  Just about 30 minutes into the move, the lead guy, George, approached me and said that since we still had lots of 'last minute' items that still needed to be packed, it'd be cheaper for us to go with a flat fee to cover unlimited packing materials and packing service, instead of paying for them individually.  Yes, we did still have lots of stuff in drawers, miscellaneous items in the garage, etc., that had to be packed.  So I asked for a quote.  He gave me a quote that's 1/3 more than what we paid the last few times.  I was surprised it's so much higher.  He countered that they now charge for packing TV sets, glass tabletops, etc.  We had lots of stuff to move, even with a 26-ft truck, we'd have to make 2 trips.  It'd be a long day as is and I didn't think we could afford the time to stop in the middle of the move, so I acquiesced.Well, they started moving really, really fast.  Loud, thumping noises everywhere.  They did whatever they wanted to speed things up.  They dragged heavy furniture instead of lifting, they went up and down the stairs with their dolly fast, instead of moving it one stair at a time to avoid damage to the floor.  I just cringed when I saw what they were doing to the floors.  Many tiny scratches.  The 26-foot truck was full in 2.5 hours and off we went to the new place.  After the movers moved a couple of loads into the house, I noticed marks on the wood floor that looked like they were made by the wheels of a dolly.  So I finally asked George to stop and make sure all the wheels on the dollies were clean.  That's when things got 'interesting'.  George said that he'd now go back to time and materials.  He would charge for the time they spent moving (and I'm sure they'd move much slower), and packing service.  For instance, it'd cost $55 to pack 1 TV set.  $55 to wrap a TV set with card board and secure it with stretch wrap???  I called the home office and the lady backed him up.  I said the job order only said that we'd have to pay for packing materials, and she said packing service is packing materials and they charge for it.  Since George stopped all work and held our belongs in the truck hostage, there's not much I could do but sign waivers (meaning that they would NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for any damages to the floors, walls, buildings, etc.) and pay them the $2,500 flat fee so we could finish the move.In the end, they didn't provide all the boxes we needed to pack and move everything.  They left when they wanted to leave.  There were plenty of items left at the old place and we had to make 6 trips the following day using our SUV to move the remaining items.  They also just moved everything off the truck and put them wherever inside the house, instead of placing them where they should be.  All in an attempt to 'finish' the job and get out of here.They spent 10 hours instead of ~15 hours, which was how long it took the last few times we moved.  And they 'lost' a file box with sensitive personal info, so I had to put fraud alerts on our credit files.  My husband also is missing a Mont Blanc from his desk drawer that the movers packed.  It's only been 5 days since the move, we'll find out what else has been 'lost'.

Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. From start to finish. Very unprofessional. No flexibility, hire sub contractors. Fairly priced in the beginning, by the time they are done, by far the most expensive. Frustration like they take a credit card for the deposit, but at delivery it only cash and a postal money order. Dan is the most unprofessional as he hung up on me a few times. I'm begging you not to use VIP. It will save you a huge headache and extra expense. They should be investigatedTake a look at their BBB rating. It's a F!
