Overall a great moving company!  Jay was super friendly and thorough getting us all set up for moving day.  Jose and his crew were very pleasant and efficient to deal with - moved quickly and carefully.  However they did not shrink wrap or cover our white couches in any way (they were so quick I didn't even see them load them on the truck or else I would've requested them be wrapped), so when they were delivered to our new house they had a lot of black smudge and overall looked dirty.  Our refrigerator was also not hooked up, they plugged it in but did not hook up the water source so our ice maker was not working.  They were hardworking and fast, but these two things made me give 4 stars - I guess just be sure to request/remind them of certain things you may assume will be done.

One star for the actual movers only. Please DO NOT use VIP!This is easily the worst moving experience of my entire life. In the beginning, all seemed normal. Worked with Jay getting the estimate, got the move date scheduled and then the movers show up. Jose and his crew were great. After that is when things went wrong. Jose told me delivery would be 4-7 days after I confirm my new address. When I call and tell them the delivery address, Vanessa tells me delivery will be up to 21 days. Huh? This company has communication problems.I guess I am super (un)lucky as 3 days later Vanessa tells me my delivery is scheduled for 2 days later. Okay, so 5 days and not 21 days, cool. The movers show up on the hottest day of the month. I'm in Campbell, Ninja moving (VIP subcontractor, both owned by VIP) is in Santa Clara but they drive to San Francisco for 2 deliveries before mine. Andrew and his crew are tired, hot, frustrated and I cannot blame them. Additionally, it was father's day and Will (a father) is working with Andrew. Shameful VIP/Ninja management.Before they unload, Andrew asks for the balance (~$1500) as mandated by his management. Again, this is no reflection on Andrew and his crew. First, I didn't know the balance (that lack of communication thing) and second, I already paid ~$1200 on a ~$2145 estimate.  And it falls apart from here; coolant from God knows where leaks from a plastic container with my motorcycle gear only. My gloves are saturated and ruined. Jacket, pants and two pair of boots smell of coolant, likely ruined. Floor lamp base busted, ruined. And I've found six glasses broken so far. Multiple boxes damaged, chaise lounge chair left not put together, no clean up of my place and floor damage. I'm out the over charged amount from VIP/Ninja Movers, I've lost personal items (and likely will find more as I'm still unpacking) and I'm sure my apt management will give $0 of my deposit back. Please DO NOT USE VIP, the owners only want your money and do not care about your belongings! My next call is to BBB. I hope this review will save one person or family the grief I am currently experiencing.This company has a TOP DOWN problem, bad management means bad training which creates bad results. Avoid VIP and Ninja!

We hired VIP relocation to help us move within San Francisco. It was about a 15 min drive from pick up to destination. 1 bedroom Apartment, 650 sq ft. We decided not to move the bed, mattress or dresser. So basically a bunch of boxes, couch, center table and dining table and 4 chairs. Here is what happened once the movers arrived. 1) The movers arrived at 8:45 AM. We signed the initial paperwork and told us the maximum they would charge is 700 which is unlikely, since the move cannot possible take 7 hours. 2) The movers were snarky, ranting and fighting with each other the entire time. They were working in an uncoordinated fashion. So, naturally they were extremely slow and the move took 7 hours!! This is after repeatedly reminding them about the time. 3) They started the move and within the first trip broke one of the elevators. The building management has a video of the them kicking the door which broke it. They had to get the elevator guy to fix it urgently. Sent them an invoice. Haven't heard back.  4) They were extremely rough with furniture and boxes. They broke glasses, bowls and mugs. They also broke our light fixtures and bulbs. How hard do you have to bang to break METAL light fixtures? I saw them dent and break a lampshade. And when I asked to take care with it, basically came back to saying the lampshade should be packed. I had wrapped it with a plastic wrap. Even if it was not in a box, it gave them no right to be rough with it. My furniture is completely scratched, my cutlery is broken and I haven't even unpacked half of it.  5) Wardrobe boxes did not have any rods. When I asked about it, they gave us attitude. So basically I had to dump all my expensive dresses and blazers into big boxes. Didn't bother to move laundered shirts since they would have been ruined.This was the most unprofessional crew I have come across. They disrespected us, our stuff and building management. I sent them all relevant pictures. Haven't heard a peep from them. We spoke to Usher at the end of the move and tried to explain the situation. He was less than cooperative but after a long conversation, he offered to let us pay for 6 hours. However, it was probably the worst move I have experienced. It was extremely stressful. And I felt upset, cheated and disappointed at the end of it.

Very  very bad moving company service and not professional at all , they lack of communication between sales person and the person who authorization.I order this moving company on tuesday and i gave them moving date on sunday and confirm what time i want to starting  move and they agree,they said they will confirm on saturday.On saturday Dan called me and said they will come different time which is earlier that the time that we agree for.And he said that that the only time they can start,which I was not available at that time.if they can't do the time that i wanted, then i wouldn't using this moving company.Luckily  i found the other moving company better than this one and much cheaper price and professional .

VERY ANNOYING!  I am moving to Hunnington Beach and I had called a couple different moving companies to request quotes. This Morning at 7:00 am  this Company called me 4 times off of different numbers and once on Private!  Ultimately I decided to not involve a Moving Company and just rent a truck and have some friends help move, when I tried to explain he kept cutting me off and interrupting me.Even if I decide to hire a Moving Company I WILL NOT be using this Company.
