I read the Google reviews on this company and they were mostly 5 stars so I went ahead and booked them for my move. My sales rep was Ricky who gave me a quote of $684.25 for my move from LA to Santa Barbara. That seemed about right for a mid-week move so I paid the $50 deposit. After I paid the deposit I saw the appalling reviews on Yelp so I called the sales rep back to explain them. He said a lot of it was "a lack of communication" and assured me that the only extra charges would be if it took longer to load/unload than expected. I also asked what happens if the truck gets stuck on the 101 and do I have to pay for that. He stated that I would only be charged for the 1 1/2 hour round trip, so 3 hours in total.The movers, Jesse and Peru took a little longer than expected to load so I was thinking maybe 1 hour extra labor charge. At the end of the move I received a bill for $1331.00, about double the original quote. Jesse said that I was charged for travel time X2 as is stated on the bottom of the quote. That is not what the sales rep had told me.Basically the quote is the lure and I got hooked,Jesse and Peru were courteous, hard working and only a few insignificant items were damaged. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to tip them as I had to come up with an extra $700 to pay the bill. Never again.

Everyone please share on Facebook about this company. Remember report this company to BBB, DOT and take them to court for small claims. We are currently waiting for court appt.

It took 77 days after pickup to receive my belongings and they still made me pay when they finally dropped them off. Multiple broken items. All around terrible customer service. Even their employees recommend filing complaints with the BBB and seeking legal recourse.

It has been 77 days till this day of the review that I have not received my stuff. I do not have to write much since the review before me have said enough about this incompetent company. They have my beds. My wife and children are sleeping on the floor because of them, and my wife has developed sciatica as a result. My kids don't deserve this treatment either. More than half of our clothes are in there including certain documents. DOT and BBB have been contacted, and now a civil lawsuit is on its way to shut these guys down. They will pay for their service and if they don't deliver my stuff. I can assure you, but if you're smart, trust these reviews and DO NOT TRUST THEM!

The WORST moving experience. They were scheduled for Sunday but called on Friday and said they had to come on Saturday. Gave us a time frame of 10-12 and at 3 we still hadn't heard anything... calling and getting no information. You have to pay a deposit to schedule a move, so we didn't want to arrange another moving company until we got a response. The moving truck showed up at 5:40pm and three men came out. When my husband showed them the items to be moved they immediately began telling him that is too big (dresser) or that's not on the list. It wasn't until 6:15 pm that anything was even actually touched. By 6:30 they didn't even have one item in the truck. The "foreman" as he liked to call himself was a total arrogant excuse maker. And he continued to argue with his two workers loudly in Spanish in my home. They didn't know what they were doing, my husband had to disconnect our washer and dryer, unscrew our water line for our refrigerator and take off the handles because the mover did not know how. By midnight when they wrapped our pool table in cut up boxes and tape after I questioned the method and he told me "I know what I'm doing. This is my job I'm a professional let the professional handle it." Then they tip the pool table over and can't get it, so my husband has to help them. They break a dolly trying to carry it out on its side and pull it along the concrete. Then he walks into our home and tells my husband that the pool table is so heavy he is charging us $200 more to move it. When we scheduled the move we asked for the table to be assembled and disassembled and moved in pieces. We were willing to have it professionally assembled at our new location. Then he tells my husband that he is charging us $200 for tape, $200 for using his moving blankets, $200 for his skilled wrapping and packaging of the pool table, $200 for each TV that we already had in TV boxes and secured. And if I didn't pay him the extra $1000 he was going to take his truck with our belongings to storage and charge me by the day for his truck sitting until I paid him. By this time it is closer to 1am and no one from the actual company is answering the phone. We can't get ahold of anyone and we repeatedly are showing him the contract. So I parked my suburban in front of the moving truck and told him to try and take my property and that I wanted everything unloaded he wasn't getting another dollar from me. His story quickly changed when I called the local police, and he agreed to hold up the contract. He then told me that he would be driving straight thru the night and if I wasn't at my new location 412 miles away, that he would charge me a wait time. It is illegal to drive after so many hours of work, he claimed to have started at 6am and that was why they were late to our scheduled time slot. But not trusting the scam artist I got in my car and drove all night and I waited.... I waited until after 7pm for him to show up to our home. And once again it took them until after midnight on Sunday to get everything out of the truck. They left pictures packaged, no handles on the refrigerator, the washer and dryer not connected, and our pool table they dropped twice. At this point my husband would not assist them and they stated that they would be back in the morning to finish. At 10am they come to my house with 3 additional day laborers they hired from the Home Depot parking lot, and tried to assemble the pool table. After 30 minutes they got it upright and on the legs, but they broke off large pieces of wood and scratched the leather pockets, damaged the surrounding wood and just made a mess out of things. If I never see the mover again, it will be too soon. He made a new move a nightmare and left my home in disarray. I would NEVER recommend this company or their employees. The process for the claims department has been even worse. Horrible business and I will be reporting them to the better business bureau as well as filing a police report for a scam artist.
