These guys are amazing. Moving sucks, let's face it. Even if you want to move, it still sucks and is somewhat overwhelming when you look at all the stuff you actually have. But Tom's Marathon Movers makes it way easier. In July, I moved from a 2 bd into a 1 bd. Initially I signed up for a 2 man crew, but because I was the afternoon move and they were running late, they sent a 3 person crew at the same price point. Love that customer service! They moved me in so quickly and efficiently.Unfortunately, that apartment sucked and I had to move again just a few days ago. I called Christmas Eve and they were able to schedule me for the following Wednesday. Again, they made everything so smooth, easy, and efficient. I hope I don't have to move again for awhile but whenever I do...I will be using them again! They're awesome, super professional, hard working, and careful. They're the BEST!

I realized I've been remiss and did not yelp these guys when I moved a couple years ago. In short they were great. My boyfriend recommended them from a previous move he had done a year or so before. They moved me out of my 1 bedroom apt in Koreatown into his place in Mar Vista quickly and efficiently. They even remembered him and said hi! This was by far the fastest, easiest and most inexpensive move I have ever had. I'll definitely be using Tom's for my future moves.

No lie, moving can be one of the most stressful times in your life. All the time spent packing up everything you own, trying to anticipate the best way to protect the things you love, and then it's out of your hands. You're at the mercy of whoever you hire. All you can do is hope that you find a reputable company with good people. Well the gods of moving smiled down on us when they sent Armondo, Ernesto, and Ezra from Tom's Marathon Movers to take care of our move. Not only did they work non-stop, tirelessly for hours but they also had such a great, positive outlook throughout the entire day. They had to deal with boxes and boxes and boxes of art books (we have a problem - what can I say?) and they took it in stride. Never complaining, never letting it slow them down. When we found out our couch wouldn't fit through the doorway to our new place they didn't bat an eye and devised a way to fly it up through the second floor window.If the other movers who work for Tom's are half as good as Ernesto, Armondo, and Ezra you will have a perfect experience. If you're lucky enough to get these three guys taking care of your move you can forget all the worry and stress that normally comes with moving day. Hopefully we won't be moving anytime soon but when it is time we will call Tom's!
