Smart Move Moving & Storage

I was told by a friend who had recently been moved by Smart Move that it was $90/ hr. for 3 guys wrapping larger items, loading and unloading with light assembly.  This I confirmed via text message.  However, they arrived in only two.  My husband and I had to take turns standing by the truck, to make sure our belongings were save, the entire time.  The move took 7 hours.Also, they showed up with a truck 1/3 full of other people's things... kitchen equipment, a large sofa, etc.  Obviously, things got mixed up.On top of it all, they told me they only accepted cash.  I had to go to the ATM which only dispensed a certain amount.  I gave them part in check (less than half)The day after the move, when unpacking we realised our printer was missing.  I called, several times and got voice mail.  Sent several text messages and no reply.  This was on a wednesday.  Continued texting and leaving messages until friday when, by late afternoon, we decided to put a stop on the check - which we alerted them about.  We asked that they bring the printer and the check back, so that we may pay the balance in cash.  NO REPLY.Finally I told my husband to call from work (a phone number unknown to them).  They immediately picked up.  Were dismissive and rude.  Threatened us with legal action and said they did not know which truck was used for our move - which is BS.  I don't believe they are such a large enterprise.Summary: we have yet to hear from them.  Our printer has not been returned.I would not recommend them, as they do not know how to resolve conflict, rather avoid it.

Smart Move got to my apartment early & moved all of our stuff in within 1 hour. These guys are fast, professional, and they don't complain. We had a Budget truck that we we were unloading into an apartment up 1 flight of stairs. Everything was handled carefully. I would highly recommend these guys.

Juan and Eddie were just great! They were fast and efficient and handled everything with care. I was amazed at how creative they were in moving my furniture in odd sized doorways and windows. I highly recommend this family business and I will definitely call on them again if I need to.thanks, Smart Movers!

I strongly recommend this company to anyone and everyone that is moving. I do so because I've moved plenty of times in past couple of years since I've have started my career. In doing so I've hired several different companies to come and help me move and have not been more satisfied with any other company then Smart Move (father and Son). I've had the worst experience with other companies and the workers that come move my home. They were inconsiderate and didn't have any respect for my furniture or personal items.   Through all my moving I think that smart move is the best bang for your buck moving has to offer.  It is a great piece of mind knowing that the people who move my house with Smart Move are the people who founded the company and own it. They take great care of my items and move with care. Very professional . Thanks guys !!
