When I first started doing research on auto shipping, I was horrified by all kinds of issues that could occur - late pickup, long delays in deliveries, etc. I needed a car as soon as I arrive at my new location (2000 miles away from the original location), so I couldn't be flexible with the delivery date. Flat Price didn't give me the lowest quote - it was actually one of the highest quotes, but it was worth it - Flat Price work with trustworthy truck drivers and they also have their own team of truck drivers, which means not having a driver to pick up the car at all (an unfortunate situation that happens very frequently) would not likely be an issue with them. Everything was done professionally - on both pickup and delivery, the drivers contacted me on the day of the appointment and kept in touch throughout the day about the exact time of their arrival. In the end, they were able to deliver my car to the destination two days before I arrived - it was such a relief to see my car parked at my new apartment. It isn't cheap to ship your car, but if this is the only way to do it, I'd highly recommend Flat Price Moving - it is worth the price.P.S. There are a lot of horror stories online about shipping a car - fortunately I didn't personally experience that.  It is a disgrace that this industry is so messed up and filled with irresponsible agents who would provide unrealistic low quotes to earn the business and then ditch the customers. As customers, I think it is important that we try to use the legit and trustworthy companies such as Flat Price Moving so we can drive those irresponsible agents out of business!

I used this company to ship my cars twice using enclosed container due to their rating although their price is the highest since I want to make sure my cars get delivered in top condition.1st time I used it, there were some mysterious sticky glue type of substance all over the hood once I received the car. as soon as I started to contact them about this issue, their attitude changed a lot. They were very responsive and friendly before my business is locked in but very slow in replying to inquiry about this. I really need to chase them to get any answer. In the end, I told them I would take my car to a car wash place to see whether they have any luck in getting ride of the sticky stuff and markings I couldn't get rid after washing the car itself. Luckily, the car wash place was able to restore the car as if it never happened. Flat price agreed to cover my cost to get the car washed. So far so great, this was before my 2nd shipment has already been scheduled but not happened yet. 2nd shipment was very uneventful, which is what you want when you ship your car. But they just never responded to my email asking for car wash reimbursement, which they promised.  It is no big deal as car wash cost is nothing compared to the car but you can tell if something goes wrong, they are unlikely to follow through on their promise.so when you use them, better hope nothing happens as I am not sure they will keep their word.

I recently used Flat Price Moving & Auto Shipping to ship my car from CA to FL.  I called them on the phone to arrange the shipping.  I was able to electronically sign all the necessary paperwork.  Their price was competitive.  The overall experience was very good.The company did have some mechanical issues with the truck that was to pick up my car in CA.  As a result they did not pick up my car within the scheduled 3 day window.  They also did not call me to let me know they were having trouble.  They say they will call 1 day before they come to pick up so on the third day of the pickup window when I still had not received a call, I emailed Frank in their office.  Frank was who I originally worked with to arrange the shipping of my car.  Frank was very helpful in getting me a status update.  The owner of the trunk company (not the driver of the truck) finally called me about 8 pm on the evening of the 3rd day of the pickup window to apologize for not contacting me sooner.  He said his driver could pick up the car by 10 pm but that was too late for us (we had plans out of town that night) so he offered to pick up the car the following morning.They transported the car very quickly across the country (pick up on Sat morning, drop off on Thurs evening).Overall, I would recommend this company.  They were helpful and worked with me even when I did not initially get calls from the driver to confirm pickup or to let me know they were running late.  The driver was very friendly and appeared to care about taking care of my car and safely transporting it across the country.

I had the best experience with Flat Price from start to finish! The staff that worked with me - Nick, Nikki, Francisco and Kyle - went above and beyond and made me feel comfortable and confident with the transport of my vehicle. Thank you Flat Price for the excellent service I received from you! Everything was well coordinated and I highly recommend others to choose this company when moving. You won't be disappointed!

Eugene the driver did a great job. Car made it from San Jose, CA to Houston, TX. Polite and got the job done when he said he would.
