I was referred to Elephant Moving Co by a friend who works for a very famous celebrity. One known to be very picky! From the first call, I knew I was in good hands. These guys are great! There is a reason they have so many excellent reviews. The movers were polite and respectful and fast! They cared for my items and took special care to make certain the right boxes were put in the proper rooms. They were careful with all of my things. Not one crack, scuff or mark was left on any of my things. These guys genuinely care about their customers, and it shows. The customer service is hands down the best I have ever received. I will use them again, and continue to help spread the good word to anyone wanting an effortless moving day. -KA

RESPONSE PROVED MY POINT.  MORE LIES.  That must be another unsatisfied customer, not my situation.STEER CLEAR!Update 7/23/14 - This company's response is as erroneous and irresponsible as their interactions with me. LIES. They harassed me for my business and I told them not interested. Really steer clear!  I have only written 2 reviews on yelp for either really great or really poor service. I have zero reason to lie or omit facts. What a disgrace!!!  I'd rather deal with a funeral than this company based on their recent response!!!ORIGINAL REVIEW:As also mentioned by Claudia K on 7/1, I had a similar experience.  An older gentleman with an accent was attempting to help me but has completely turned me off and I have secured another company with little notice the day before a holiday.Everyone knows death, weddings, and moving are the 3 top stresses, and the gentleman working for this company had no compassion and often said my very basic questions around how my goods would be wrapped and what was include in the pricing were "making a big deal" of things.Business must be really good because every call was answered with the gentleman telling me he would call back because he was in the middle of something.  He also gave callback timeframes he never met.  Adding insult, when we finally reconnected I was asked to repeat critical information like my current and new address, full list of items to be moved, etc.  He kept no records!!!On one returned call, I asked him for 10 minutes so I could exit my parking structure because we had a bad signal.  He told me "no" because they were technically closed at 5:15pm and I should call him tomorrow.  He lacked the patience I exhibited when after waiting 2 hours for him to call me back.  At this point the move I was trying many times to confirm was in 2 business days due to the 7/4 holiday and we were in the process of finalizing details so I knew this was the company I wanted to use. Never knew moving a short list of 1-bedroom items could be so painful and complicated. Uncaring and inefficient. Now that I told him I am not interested and will write a review my phone has rung several times.  Ha!   Seems like most had a great experience with the actual movers.  Ashamed I will never know the potential of this company due to the one man who answers the phone.

I've moved from London to NY to LA and used many moving companies. Elephant Moving Company have been the BEST I've ever experienced!!

I move almost once a year and went through a good dozen of moving companies, all equally bad. This is the first time working with the moving company was a pleasure. Owner was very communicative. Crew was on time, careful and did everything perfectly! Already used them twice and will do it again.

I heard about Elephant Moving Company through a friend and decided to give them a try! My husband and I were so happy when the awesome people at Elephant Moving Company made our move a wonderful experience. The friendly movers took great care when moving our items and nothing was damaged! Since we bought our boxes through the company, we were able to sell them back! They also let us use wardrobe boxes for free. The movers were a joy to work with and the owner is honest and a lovely business man. We will definitely be recommending them to friends!
