Childs Moving

As a Realtor I have been recommending Child's Moving to my clients for years.  I finally got to try them out personally and I could't be happier.  I cleaned out my garage and moved it all to storage.  These guys came out, loaded the truck quickly, no messing around, took it to storage and in just a few hours my stuff was secure and I could go enjoy the rest of my day.  They were conscience, clean (until they got my dust all over them), friendly and hard workers.  Great job!!!!

I just completed my second move with Childs Moving and could not be happier!  They are a family owned business (over 50 yrs!) and the grandsons are the movers.  Sam, the owner/grandfather oversees everything and he is very efficient in making sure things go smoothly.  The grandsons and other helpers are 100% efficient and courteous.  They are very respectful of the client and the client's possessions. They came the first day and spent all day loading up a multitude of boxes and furniture.  We decided to have them come back the following day to the new place to unload.  Before they left I took them to the new place since it was very close, so we could discuss the placement of furniture, etc.  The next day they arrived @8:00 A.M. and never stopped until everything was unpacked and placed.  They used their good intuition about some items and I couldn't have done it better myself.  You will NEVER find a more efficient, courteous and HONEST company and staff!  Their prices are unbelievably fair and even though they charge by the hour, they never slack off - in fact, the barely take a lunch break!  I would give them 10 stars if I could!

WOW! Fantastic service! What a great family owned company (third generation now). The BEST! My co-worker recommended Childs Moving Co. after she moved to W. Hollywood. She had such a good experience with them that when it came time for us to move she gave me their info. These guys know what they're doing. They are so friendly, courteous, thoughtful and caring. I was SO happy and impressed that I didn't want to rely on my husband to Yelp them eventually...I JUST joined Yelp so I can leave my very own review.They will travel far, not just L.A. area. We moved from Torrance to Anaheim. I remembered Sam mentioning they've even gone up north Cali and Phoenix to name a few places. They charge by the hour and let me tell you: they DO NOT slow the process down because of it. It's the opposite, they have a FAST pace mode. They respect the customer and their time and what that means to our wallets. The drive was 35 mins to our new place, I left at the same time as their truck, sped a bit thinking they're going to take their time driving. I arrived and no more than 5 mins later, they were calling letting me know they were already parked in front of our walkway, ready to unload. There was a deep discussion about our HUGE bookcase that wouldn't fit through the doorway. My husband and I were ready to call it quits and throw it away. But the guys thought it through, disassembled it and built it back in the appropriate room in no more than 30-40 mins. It took my husband hours to build it when we first got it. These guys know what they're doing.HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend. Would give them 10+ star review, if it was possible.

I hired Paul to come out and help me rearrange my storage space so that I could find some things I needed that were buried in the rubble. He was quick, friendly and treated my things very delicately. He helped me find exactly what I needed and then reorganized everything way better than it was before. I will definitely hire them for my next move!

This family owned business is the best. They moved us from LA to Palm Springs. They picked up all,of our goodies on Monday from a home that I had lived in for 38 years, and which had 38 steps form the garage to the front door, and another flight to the second floor. They Went up and down the steps with cartons, plastic bags and all the furniture at least one hundred times. They delivered everything to Palm Springs on Tuesday. They were prompt, courteous and respectful of out homes and of our possessions. They were swift and efficient with every move. Grandpa Sam was there to supervise the entire move. Grandsons Sam and Paul, and worker, Isaac, were the best that Imhave ever seen. All four contributed to making what was a VERY stressful event for me, a joy which Imwill always remember and be indebted to the for.
