I used Muscle Man Moving for an in town a few years ago on the recommendation of a realtor who had helped me find my new place. They were prompt, courteous, and got things moved quickly even though it was a hot July day and I believe they had been on a job prior to mine. Total time of the move (load, drive and unload) was about 2-2and1/2 hours for their two man crew with two sets of stairs at both locations. I also had an eight foot couch that was a real bear to get in and out of places especially when tight corners were involved which in this case they were.I believe pricing was $45 person per hour with a $50 trip charge (pretty reasonable rates in my experience but they may have changed) With their quickness I managed to get the whole thing for less that $300.If I had to make one very nit picky complaint they brought a much larger trailer than was needed for a one bedroom and we had some issues at both ends with blocking traffic during loading and unloading where people would yell at them and while it was obvious they were really getting annoyed they managed to keep their cool while being cussed at which I greatly appreciated. It was a little tense but could have gotten so much worse.In the end nothing was broken (at least nothing I can remember so must not have been that important), there was no damage at either location (at least as far as I can see). And everything was done quickly and at an extremely reasonable price. Everything you want from a moving business and their team and the exact opposite experience I had with Piece by Peace Moving over the last month.For some reason I still don't understand took the advice of an acquaintance of my girlfriend used a Piece by Peace Moving on my last move rather than call Muscle Man who I knew were awesome and if you'd like to look at the review I posted today for that business it may give you some good insights into why it is so important to work with people that you can trust and are professional. That has not been the case with Piece by Peace Moving and it has made me really appreciate just how awesome Muscle Man was in my last dealings with themI wanted to express this to any out there who might care and offer a deep public thank you to Muscle Man Moving & Piano Experts and the two guys on their crew who took such good care of me back in July of 2014. I will insist on using them for any future moves I might make in Austin in the future.

We relocated from NC to Austin and used them to move a house-load of furniture that were packed into our temporary apartment to our house. The move went perfect, without a hitch. They came on time, packed the entire load tightly (so it took only one trip to move everything), and moved everything perfectly. Even their estimate of time and costs were accurate.They do charge a small percent extra for using a credit card to make payments though. So keep your check book / cash handy ....

Decent movers. Decent price. Took a reasonable amount of time. Movers were definitely pros. Knew just how to maneuver the furniture quickly and carefully and also how to sneak a few smoke breaks/phone calls/text messages while on the clock. But that's pretty much par for the course in my experience with movers. Giving 4 stars only because it took them 2 hours and 32 mins for my move and they only charged for 2 hours and 30. Fully expected them to round up.

A little stressed about this move. However, it went so smoothly. The movers were great, the professionalism was great. If I ever have to move again (which I hope is not anytime soon)...LOL...I would only call Muscle Man Moving. Thanks for the great service!

I wouldn't use any other moving company out there.Amazing crew. Work like dogs and as long as it takes to get the job done. I had a particularly hard move. Took two trucks. I don't know how they did it. Even unloading took 6 hrsI also think they have the best prices compared to anyone else. Very very honest people.You would be foolish to use anyone else.Thanks Mike!!!
