This moving company is the worst. First they speaking with Manuel was great. I had a 2 location moved, he remember me and was able to quote me a great price. After this point it went down hill. I waa suppose to receive a call to confirm, I never did. I called them to find out my move had been moved from 9am to 12 to 2. They get to the first location at 1245 and wanted to play around they where pushed and finished in great time. Also they sent a 3rd guy which I did not request and end the end tried ti charge me for. Then the next problem; it took them forever to get to the second location once they got there it took them 45 minutes to get 6 pieces and they tried to steal the washer and dryer from the house. Lastly I follwed them to the last location where they had to stop in the middle for gas and drinks on the clock, because I am being charged by the hour. They get everything off still playing around and tried to charge me. This is where things hit the fan. The price I was quoted on the phone just 2 days earlier was not the peice the wanted to charge me then they wanted to charge for all the additional time they wasted. Lastly Manuel tried to conjure up a conversation that we didnt have to justify the charges. Worst move ever. Please don't use this company, you will regret it.

I called Saturday July 28th to schedule a move for Thursday August 2nd, was given a quote and a time window of 1-3pm on August 2nd. I told them the closer to 3 the better as I still had some paperwork to sign with the new property management but to call me when they're about an hour out so that I could finish all of that and head over to the 'pick up' location (my old apartment). Was also told I would get a confirmation text a couple of days before the move. Received the confirmation text on the day before and replied to confirm the move was still a go. The day of the move I took a half day from work (to move), got off work at noon, went and signed the paperwork and was done by 12:40. Called Get A Move On Movers at 12:45 to let them know I was finished with paperwork and would be ready whenever they were (between 1-3) and headed over to my old apartment. Figured they'd take a bit as I originally told them closer to 3 so decided to clean up a bit, 2 rolls around and I still have not received a call as far as the ETA but figure I called and told them I'd be there and ready, no big deal. 3 rolls around, no movers, no call. Call at 3:10, speak to the owner who tells me he'd call his guys and get an ETA and call me back in about 15 min. 3:40 rolls around, no call back with ETA so I contact the owner to ask if he's received a time yet to which he responds "To be honest with you, we're probably not going to get around to you until 5 or 6." No apology, nothing. I ask if they'd be able to credit an hour for the lack of communication and the fact that they'd be showing up during rush hour traffic and I was paying them by the hour. The owner snickered on the phone, told me no they wouldn't and that I can cancel the move and it was me who said "The later, the better." I'd like to make it clear that those words never left my mouth and that any intelligent person would know if you're referencing a time frame and ask for it to be on the later side of that time frame it does not mean hours later outside of the original agreed upon timeframe. I ended up canceling the move as the owner was extremely disrespectful, unprofessional and obviously untrustworthy. Had he apologized and not put words in my mouth (remember I said closer to 3 would be better, referencing the 1-3pm time window I was originally given- not late into the evening) I might have reconsidered using them. I now am put out the original half day of work I was going to take off and another day of work because I had to find an emergency mover for the next day because Get A Move on Movers was unprofessional, rude and inconsiderate.

This company moved from the Eilan to my new apartment less than 3miles away on 3/18/17. In the process they managed to break all 4 of my televisions ( 65" Sony 4K television less than a year old, 65" LG 4K television two years old, 55" LG 4K television, & 45" Samsung 4K television less than two years old)Additionally they transported my brand new $5,500.00 mattress without a cover and stained it. As well as broke my Restoration Hardware bed frame. After two weeks of absolutely no response from the owner in regards to how he was going to rectify the situation I was able to get him to file a claim with his insurance for the damages. Two weeks ago he's insurance claim rep Johnathan Arrambide came out to my new apartment, took pictures of the damages and a verbal statement from me. Since then zero has been done, until this morning 4/10/17 I received a "curtesy call" from the claims adjuster Mr. Arrambide, he was calling to inform me he had submitted the claim for review, and wanted to update me in the status, he further proceeded to inform me that although the denial wasn't final, it appeared as though GET A MOVE ON insurance was. It going to cover any of the damages , due to certain exclusions within their policy, which are specific to "cargo and the way it was packed by the movers". Mr. Arrambide also wanted to make me aware that under the Contract of GET A MOVE ON, there are certain limitations in regards to coverage that I should familiarize myself with.As Mr. Arrambide was well aware no contract was ever signed between myself and GET A MOVE ON, as I provided him upon initial encounter with a copy for their records.  I have the original copy in my possession which was filled out by one of the movers upon completion of the move, he put a line through every single location for where there was to be my signature as they were not invoicing me for services rendered due to the extreme damages that had occurred. Apparently, Mr. Arrambide is now stating this "straight line" is being considered as my personal signature. After my phone conversation with Mr.Arambide , I called the owner of get a MOVE ON to see what was going to be done. The owner dismissed me on the spot. Stating he's never been a situation like this before and he has ZERO intention of replacing any of my damaged belongings.Nearly a month later and I'm out $20,000.00+ in damages. This man should not be allowed to be in business. He has an obligation to maintain liability insurance that covers him and his staff. The insurance he currently posses does absolutely nothing to protect the consumer. I am now at a loss, as moving is costly in it of itself. My only hope is to call my renters insurance make a claim and hope it's covered, pay my $500 deductible. And raise my monthly premium moving forward.UPDATE: 5/3/17It's now been over one month since Get a Move On moved my family and myself into our new apartment.  All four televisions were destroyed and the owner Manuel Garza himself gave us his word he would rectify the situation immediately.  Sadly it has been one lie after another, to this day he has done absolutely NOTHING.  Manuel originally had his office call and follow up with us 4 days after the move to inform us that they'd scheduled an appointment with Best Buy to come out and assess the damage.  The following week Best Buy had not shown up , nor had we gotten an update from Get A Move On.  I called requesting an update , Manuel Garza informed me personally that after "careful consideration" he had decided to handle the damages the "correct and most effective way" Manual Garza informed us he had filed a claim for all damages with his insurance carrier and that we would be receiving a call from the claims adjuster at some point in the future.  A week later the claims adjuster showed up and assessed the damages to all televisions and took a recorded statement.  A few weeks later I received an e-mail letting me know that the claims investigation had been completed and forwarded to "corporate" for final review. After three weeks at "corporate" I called for an update, they informed me that Mr. Manuel Garza's coverage had certain exclusions and my claim due to those exclusions was being denied entirely.  Once I received this information I placed a call to Mr. Manuel Garza the owner of Get a Move On, asking him how I was to proceed to get my televisions and all damages repaired and or replaced.  Mr. Garza stated he had not received a denial from his insurance and thus he would not talk in "hypotheticals" I offered to provide him with my copy of the same letter he was sent informing him as the policy holder of the denial of my entire claim.  Mr. Garza refused for me to forward that to him, and stated he would wait to get his in the mail, at which point he would contact me with "options". The next day I sent Mr. Garza a text with the formal denial , to which he still denied ever getting however, he agreed to call me back to discuss my options.
