Established in 2011. First Responders Moving was founded in 2011 by John Henderson. While working for a moving company John knew he could provide a unique service to meet peoples needs. John took to the drawing board with his wife and started brain storming the idea of a company that hires people you trust everyday to protect you and your property. When they started looking at similar business models they saw a need for the people of San Antonio to have a moving company they could count on. He learned a lot about the business by researching. We used this company to move our 5 bedroom, 2 story house into a 2nd floor storage unit. We couldn't have asked for a better crew! The 3 of them were extremely polite, professional, took great care with all of our items, and did it in great time considering all of the obstacles they had. Much of our furniture was very heavy solid wood, we had a massive grandfather clock, as well as a church organ that was upstairs, and the temps were nearing 100. Will definitely use them when moving into our new house once it is finished.

This was my 3rd moving company I've ever used. And I will never use anyone else, but 1st Responders!The guys were absolutely the BEST. Very courteous, prompt, fast moving, and they packed the truck like it was a Tetris game. No damages at all. Hooked up my ice maker, washer & dryer. Took apart and put together 4 beds. I had A lot of stuff and they never took a break. Well worth the costs! And hey, they were pretty easy on the eyes as well.....Just sayn'

I will start by saying the guys were very friendly. However, they quoted a five hour move (moving from a two story 1600 sf house to a one story 1900 sf house 5.5 miles away). The three guys were extremely slow and wound up taking EIGHT HOURS AND 15 MINUTES and two trips. So quote was almost double what they estimated. They took almost five hours to just load the truck the first time. Then the driver of the truck drove up into our new neighbor's yard. Throughout the whole day they were nice enough, but they moved so slowly and it took all three of them to move each thing. I called and spoke with manager briefly about experience and was supposed to get a call back but he didn't call.I would not suggest using this company. It never should have taken that long. It was just a rip off.
