I booked this company off of the U-Haul website when I was making the truck reservation. They were one of the hightest rated San Antonio moving companies on the U-Haul website, so they seemed like a good choice. The pricing was fair, $55/hour, 2 hour minimum. The communication was great - the office called me after booking online and again the day before the move. The movers were very honest...my dad dropped some cash without noticing and they picked it up and handed it to him. They also pointed out some minor damage my furniture had as they were unloading the truck (it was pre-existing but I appreciated them keeping an eye out for it).My furniture had been loaded by a 2 man crew in McAllen. The crew from C&C asked my dad (a 66-year-old heart patient) to help them with some of the heavier pieces. I didn't like that. The other crew was able to load (which is more difficult) on their own without any help. C&C was just putting the stuff in storage, which was air conditioned and had elevators. They had the easier job but didn't seem able to pull it off as well as the guys from McAllen.Pros: fair price, good communication, honestCons: asking an older person to help seemed unprofessional

Hi Carla,If your only way of defending your company is to assume that all the negative reviews are fraud, then you are wrong my dear!!Be careful before you say that. The insurance company send us a check for $1500. I guess if what you are saying is correct, we would not get anything after they checked out all the items that were damaged. And i assume that you know that insurance companies are not going to pay any money if they did not inspect things very carefully..I can reply to all what you have mentioned in your long posting.. But i think that is enough.. All what i need to let other clients know, that probably you are doing a good job with moving a one or two bedroom house.. That is what you claim you can do it professionally but more than that and if anyone has valuable items or furniture.. Donot go there !!!!I never posted any reviews all my life but i thought it will be really honest to warn other clients..Thanks for your very PROFESSIONAL way of defending your company!!!Please send packing Tape with your workers so they do not use the clients tape and when it is gone, they would not tape anything anymore !!!!

Carla and the guys were super-friendly and helpful. They were flexible with time and arrived on-time. Our one-bedroom apartment took an hour to move onto the truck, which was packed snug! All for an affordable price.

Karma, Deven G. and Martel M. Are The Best! Karma was attentive making the arrangements. Deven and Martel were amazing, fast and efficient but most of all super nice! I am so happy that they helped us with our move! You can bet that I will be calling on there services again!

We booked these movers through uhaul hire a helper so it was very easy. The movers were scheduled at 10am and they arrived on time. The movers seemed to be young college kids, very nice and respectful. I hired them for 2 hours and since this is not my first move, I figured I'd end up with them for 3 hours but unfortunately for us 3 turned into 4 1/2 hours at a snails pace it seemed- they didn't charge me for the last 1/2 hour which was nice but as nice as these guys were they were just slow moving(hahaha literally), they chatted alot about music, girls, lifting, fitness- which is all well and good when your on your own dime. I guess over the years I've just had some really good movers before to compare them to that have really hustled, so overall these guys were very nice just extremely lackadaisical.
