We used Bobcat Movers twice. The first time we had a good experience with them, which is why we booked them again. However, the 2nd time we had some issues. 1. Changed time on us. We scheduled a time. When I called to confirm, they asked to come 2 hours later, which we agreed to. The morning of, they were still hour late even after giving them a two hour window. So we got started 3 hours later than we wanted.  2. The time of the move took longer than anticipated. I understand that can happen, however the quote was based on a certain amount of hours and they went over that increasing the price the day of.  They may have misquoted to book the business or don't have enough experience to provide an accurate quote based on the size and furniture requirements of the house. 3. Damage to our furniture. During the move our bedroom furniture was scratched as well as a noticeable dent and big scratch to our stainless steel refrigerator. 4. Failure to return calls, emails, texts. We called them several times over the next few days to tell them about the damage and inquire what the next steps were to file a claim with their insurance. We NEVER heard back. Not a courtesy call, not an apology, nothing.  I find that to be extremely unprofessional. If your company makes a mistake, own it and try to make it right. Don't ignore the problem, which is what they did with us. 5. Lack of insurance? I don't even know if the company has insurance. You may want to ask that before you book them and request proof. Ask how they handle situations in the event furniture is damaged . We won't make that mistake again.

I used Bobcat twice in 2007 for moves in San Antonio. I can give no higher recommendation as the guys were fantastic! They were quick and careful. They showed up on time and were very accommodating despite not be completely ready. I just kept working while they loaded and they kept their sense of humor. I have used other movers after leaving from Texas and none of them have compared to Bobcat. They're the gold standard. Thanks guys for everything.

Story time! For my fifth move, I decided to hire some help moving from a 3rd floor 1 bedroom in San Marcos to a 1st floor in San Antonio. After calling a ton of different companies in the area, I found Blake from Bobcat Movers to be most responsive to my questions and concerns, and the rates were appropriate. Although the move-in date and time were scheduled weeks ahead of time, my new complex called me the night before informing me that my place wouldn't be ready the next morning--leaving me to push back the start of the move more than 3 hours--which Bobcat Movers totally accommodated.They showed up with 4 guys instead of 2 so they could get it finished quickly and get to another move they had scheduled that day. These guys loaded up my entire 1 bedroom/kitchen+fully furnished living room in 1 hour. It would have easily taken me 5 hours and tons of beer and pizza to try to get my friends to help. Upon arriving to my new place at the time when I was assured everything would be ready to go, the manager came out to say that the floors had not yet been finished and there was no way to actually move my stuff in yet. I informed Blake about what was going on and he decided to push his other move that day to the next. SO grateful that his other customers were flexible enough to do this and the guys kept a positive attitude...even when the two hour wait we were told turned into 3+. What was pretty much the worst move-in experience I've had was made better by the cheerful demeanor and overall positivity the guys had throughout the process. When they were finally able to unload my stuff, it took them maybe 45 minutes. I highly recommend this company--they kept my stuff safe, were very nice and professional, and were priced fairly.

I've moved a ton of times, and my belongings have NEVER been damaged before. I used Bobcat Movers once, and now almost all of my furniture and every single box I packed is damaged.And, as other reviewers have stated, I have tried to contact them but to no response. Don't use them, unless you want to ruin all of your things.
