I used this company a couple of years ago to move my daughter into her apartment and they did a great job.  Called them again to load her furniture and boxes into a Uhaul, for her move to Dallas last month.  The guys were very nice, however, they did just an ok job.  I rented 36 blankets to wrap the furniture in and they used it for packing material.  Didn't wrap one item.  Her white kitchen furniture was all scratched up and things banged into each other the entire trip home.  I was very disappointed in the job they did this time.  The movers who I used to unload the truck in Plano were the best I've ever used and was sorry they weren't available to load the truck in SA.  Be sure to talk to Dave about what you want in advance, obviously, they can't figure out on their own what the pads are for.

The price was good and I will provide an update at what kind of shape our belongings were in, once we unload our van.  They kept changing times for moving on us and acted as though those were the times all along (I always write everything in my schedule book as we're discussing it and repeat it back to whomever I'm speaking with.)  Anyhow, the first group of packers said that there was only a couple hours of work left for the next day (moving day).  It seemed odd to me, but I tipped them well in case they really had done more work then it seemed like they'd done.  The next group said "what on earth did the other guys do yesterday?!" One guy, Levar was very friendly at first but then begin making comments about how much stuff we had and asked if he could have a number of our items.  All three began talking about all the things they had heard other movers had been given during moves.  Made us feel very uncomfortable.

Fair job. I am back at my house today moving everything out of daughter's closet as well as some items leftover from their 6 hour job last night.  And this is why I had requested a pre-assessment so they can plan their day accordingly with a bigger truck/move.  One UHAUL 10 ft truck rental costing me $160 for 3 hours + 3 moves with my SUV, thus killing my Saturday afternoon = one irritated customer!  On a side note, courteous and safe with my big furniture items in my new house.A professional  appearance should be enforced (jeans, t-shirt, belt, i.e saggy pants not cool)!

I was scheduled today at 11:00. It's almost 4:00 and I have yet to hear from them. I've also been calling the office and do not receive an answer. I'm in the process of trying to find last minute movers to get me out on a weekend. This is what you get when you call a month in advance. Alotforless=a lot of waiting around.(Update)I can understand being late due to rain. What I don't understand is the lack of communication. Not only did I waste more than half of my day waiting when I could have been unpacking. But I had to pay for 4 hours instead of 2, maybe 3. It was a one bedroom apartment and my stuff was literally packed and waiting in a storage unit. Instead the guys were either on their phone or snacking. Not to mention stopping on the way to get said snacks. It's like they were literally dragging their feet to make this move as long as possible. It's never in my life taken so long to move! In fact, a previous company that I used would move me in an hour and a half! I think the service was unacceptable. I think it's inconsiderate to not notify people when you will be late. They obviously had phones on them and knew how to use them. I will not use this company again.
