Professional from the first phone call to the very last box.  A somewhat complicated move with three different addresses and all went extremely well and quickly. It was an emotional move given certain circumstances, and Ace's guys were more than professional. They were kind and sympathetic, taking into account the situation and helping us make a difficult day much easier. Not only did I feel they cared for the family heirlooms they were relocating for us, but they cared for us as people. They moved quickly, yet they were cautious and careful with our belongings. They actually finished an hour earlier than they had quoted, which is always a pleasant surprise! I would highly recommend Eric and his crew.

Update. 10-20-11Spoke with "Janie" at Atlas' 1-800 number for claims.  She says Atlas has "no record" of the online claim I submitted in July and that she will "email Aaron and Erica at Ace Relocation" to try and figure out why the property we got that was not ours was never picked up. Janie, the "claim specialist" could neither help me with the claim I already submitted nor confirm that anyone would pick up the property delivered that was not ours...property we received nearly ONE YEAR ago! I'm surprised I can still be disgusted at this point.Update 9/12/2011Please note that Ace Relocation Systems, Inc is part of Atlas.  As of today, Sept. 12, 2011, our complaints are still ignored.  I talked with an agent at Atlas about the property we received that was not ours and they said "someone will call you about picking that up."  Never got a call. I tried using their online claim form as well....no response.  We still have someone else's property.  Atlas/ Ace are two moving companies I would  stay away from!November, 2010We've done several moves, always opting for the least expensive company and getting exactly what we paid for (poor service, lost items, etc).  This time we decided we were going to go with a good company....Ace had a A+ rating with the BBB and was one of the few companies that sent an agent out to speak with us and estimate weight.  Later, when we decided to pack house ourselves, he even brought by some boxes for packing pictures and wrapping paper for breakables.But once moving day arrived, the quality service stopped. Loading crew did horrible job with inventory...many boxes never got stickered and never appeared on inventory list.  On arrival at new home, crew was unpleasant and uncooperative (wouldn't call out numbers to my husband so he could check boxes of list, lots of eye-rolling and sighing when we asked to have protection for the carpet, etc). As of today (20 days after items arrived) our agent has "turned us over" to the claims department (his initial helpfulness and promise to "be there every step of the way" seem a distant memory)....yet no one has called us as he promised and our requests to him for a direct contact in the claims department goes unanswered.  Along with our items, we ended up with someone else's property, too, and don't know how to get it to them....Ace doesn't seem to care!  We aren't looking to make a big claim...one large scratch on the armoire and a broken couch leg.  But I was surprised that actually delivering someone else's property doesn't seem to illicit a response from Ace, either.  "Someone will call you..." is the last I've heard from the agent.  Very disappointing.

Ace Relocation Systems did a great job helping us move from Austin, TX to San Jose, CA.  I needed to pick up some boxes early to get a head start on the packing, and they had all of the supplies waiting for me when I went to pick them up.  Everyone who entered my home to help with the move was poilte  and patient - both VERY important when moving with little kids! The truck arrived on time and all of things arrived safely.  Thanks!
