I really liked and appreciated these movers. I only had 2 guys for two hours to move my living room and bedroom furniture and they did so very quickly. The timeframe that they gave me was 9am-10am and they got to my apartment at about 8:30am ready to work! They took everything apart and put it all back together. They work very quickly. I thought I would have to pay for an extra hour but they only went about 30 minutes over which was only $30. Highly recommended and would definitely use again. Pricing is very reasonable.

Terrible customer service. One star is too generous. We hired this moving company for a move on short notice. Despite the language barrier and a contract he issued via text (not email or mail), we agreed to do business. I asked for a written contract via email and never received one. We were clear and direct about what we needed particularly what time we needed our pickup. Isai ensured he could make our request happen. He promised a window of 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., his team arrived an hour early and this is where the issue arose. We were on our way home from work for a 6:30 pm arrival. Because the movers showed up an hour early, and we were en route per the agreement we asked them to get started. Isai said he would check with his team to see if they could get started. He came back to the phone and said they wouldn't wait nor would his team start work after we emphasized the terms of our agreement via text (6:30 pm window of time he promised.) Here are text messages between us: 2:48 pm September 11, 2017Us: Thank you so much! Please let me know when you send the contract to my email address so we can get it over to you right away.Isai: Ok confirmed for today between 6:30 & 7:30 pm Minimum $150.00 first 2 hours after 2 hours $55.00 per hour for 2 men and truck.(trip charge included) About the payment we accept credit, debit cards and cash. Credit & debit I charge extra fee. You have to pay when my guys arrive there 2 hours upfront and the balance 20 minutes before they unloading and setup everything at the new address . 4:31 pm September 11, 2017Isai: Just I want let you know my guys get there in around 50 minutesSorry my guys can't waitingSo can we reschedule for tomorrow? Or just cancel ? We actually do know what kind of business we run . We can just go in that house without the owners being there on top of that you did call me last minute. And also I had the guys available earlier than what we spoke about and you said it was fine and then all of a sudden you can't be there we can just go barging in someone's house we do know what kid of business we run.Us: CancelThe agreement was as follows: Your words: Ok confirmed for today between 6:30 & 7:30 pm Minimum $150.00 first 2 hours after 2 hours $55.00 per hour for 2 men and truck.(trip charge included) You breached the agreement. We have cancelled and will report your business negatively to the better business bureau. You can cease any further communication with us. Isai: That's fine you can do whatever you want to but first of all I wasn't late to the appointment and we sure can I just go into your house without the owners being there so sure for not being late and for not entering your resident without the owners being there and on top of that you wanted to say that the job could get done in two hours how would you know you don't even know moving anythingI do not recommend this moving company at all! I used Uriel Movers to help move a furniture set from one end of town to another, and they made everything very easy. They showed up right on time, wow! and the guys were super professional, organized, and efficient. They finished ahead of schedule and therefore didn't overcharge. I would use them again without hesitation and highly recommend them because they were incredibly easy to deal with, reliable, organized, punctual, and provided excellent service.

Could barely understand english nor speak it.  Arrived  late was told between 9-10 am, arrived at 10:40 then they didn't return the drinking cups I provided them nor did they return the pliers I lent them to disassemble etc.  I even asked twice & was told they are by the washer & dryer.  Speaking of washer...they scratched it up on the top right side as if it was pulled against the side of the truck.  I was told $160 for the 1st 2 hours & $55 for each additional hour which they started at 10:50 & ended at 1:22pm.  I don't mind paying for the full 2 hours but they could of atleast put my children's beds together in that extra half hour.  I will not recommend or refer this company again.  It's better to pay a few more bucks.

SCAM ARTIST! We agreed on a flat rate for a move from Houston to Austin. We agreed on a 24 ft trunk and two men for $875. We asked if there were any extra fees and were told (all communications by text as evidence) no extra fees. This was the agreement before he even knew what we had to move. A week later he asked me to send a list of what we needed moved. In the end, he felt we had to many boxes. Folks, we have a one bedroom apartment. After the truck was loaded and on its way to Austin, he called and told me it would be more money because we agreed on a 16 ft truck and I filled up a 24 ft truck which took longer, that was absolutely not what we agreed. I argued with him that we agreed on a flat rate and now he wants to change that after the fact, what kind of business is this? When he thought the job was a bit larger than he originally agreed on he threatened to hold my property hostage. After a long heated debate I paid his extra $150 and will now consider taking this scammer to small claims court. He paid the two movers $96 each for a full day of hot work and all that travel and walked away with over $800 for himself. I was told he does this to people often. He was cursing and screaming at me on the phone and it took all I had to bite my tongue. DO NOT use this horrible company. I'm sure others have had good experiences but I saw the real side of this guy. Plenty of other movers available who are honest. The owner of Uriel movers is the most unprofessional, slave driving thief I've ever encountered! The actual men doing the work were professionals and did a great job, they deserve their credit due. Don't waste your time.
