Great movers, I've used them a couple times . Jay is an awesome guy we had tons of glassware and fragile art that he took great care of! Thumbs up Trico Movers!

This review is based on my long distance move from Silicon Valley, CA to Dallas, TX. It took me a month to post because I've been so occupied with settling into our new place and adjusting to the new environment.  I don't know how long my review will be but let me just begin by saying WOW, I was quite impressed with my experience with TRICO...and trust me I will expand on why I was so impressed.STAR 1) TRICO is systematic: First you will speak to a sales rep who will talk to you and give you a quote. Rep can help provide quotes for both long distance moving of household items and car transporting.  Then, once you sign a contract via email, you make payments.  Then the rep contacts the dispatchers, in my case, two dispatchers since I hired TRICO for household items and car transport.  The movers will call few hours before they arrive and the dispatcher for car transport will call to update you with the driver's (who will pick up and deliver your car) location (day before, hours before,  30 minute to an hour before, etc).  The movers and driver who picked up my vehicle both came on time they said they were going to come.  STAR 2) TRICO is very professional:  From the Sales rep to all 3 movers to the driver who transported my car to the customer service representative I spoke to, they were very good communicators who actually made efforts to accommodate and satisfy my needs as a customer from the beginning to the end!  Case in point...This was my first long distance move so I actually got quotes from a handfull of companies in California.  TRICO was NOT the cheapest, but after doing some research and reading reviews thoroughly, I felt like the companies who recently received mostly five star reviews but still had unbeatable quotes seemed too good to be true.  So I took time to read older reviews and realized that you get what you pay for.  They initially give cheap quotes to get your business, then they either use minimally movers or part time movers who have strictly set time limits to complete the job and end up either damaging a lot of things or losing them!  STAR 3 TRICO IS ORGANIZED:Let me tell you!! TRICO had BARCODES with numbers printed and 1 mover was in charge of managing the inventory sheet and sticking the sticker barcodes to make sure all of our household items got transported safely!  To be honest, although my entire experience was great, I was more impressed with the movers who picked up my items than the two movers who delivered.  The movers who picked up seemed more reliable and trustworthy because they actually explained before I signed anything. For example, We had more things than what we had on the Inventory Sheet so they had to charge us more than the contracted amount. He said I should talk to the sales rep about it to work something out or I can pay the additional fee later after delivery.  But I still had to sign acknowledging that They are picking up items not listed on the inventory.  I really appreciated him taking his time to explain it instead of just rushing me to sign the paper like the movers who delivered our household items. They delivered everything without ANY damage, but they rushed me to sign papers that we're illegible.STAR 4 TRICO IS CUSTOMER FRIENDLY AND THEY CAREAt the end, it all worked out after I spoke to the manager named Johnny.  He listened to my concern about additional fees and how I provided the sales rep with information he required before contracting with TRICO and still got additional charges of $600! Johnny first offered a discount but I thought TRICO should have provided an in-home professional estimate to provide the most accurate quote instead of charging me $600 after delivery!  Although he thought the extra charges for extra things not listed on the inventory were fair, he also agreed and understood that I only wanted to pay the contracted amount so he waived the additional fees.  STAR HALF  CAR TRANSPORT WAS ONTIME AND FRIENDLYOverall I had a good experience.  They picked up on time and delivered ontime.  My only concern was that the driver measured the height of our car by winging it with his eyes instead of getting exact measurements!  So as he drove my car into his truck, the top of my SUV was getting scratched up by the top level because his estimation was off by a foot or more!!!  He got out of our car and just said "it's ok...just a little scratch.." Then readjusted the truck level and positioned my car.So I would give 4.5stars for my experience with TRICO!! Highly recommended company! Just be sure to request in home estimate and hopefully the driver will measure your car and make proper adjustments to there truck before loading! Good luck!
