I had to have the man in charge arrested for coming to my house and threatening my life. Well it’s a long story but here it is. I requested to be moved on a Monday. Chuck stated that he would have a truck out to me by 1 pm. They didn’t arrive until after 4pm with a small truck. I needed a large truck. Well I said maybe it was a misunderstanding between me and Chuck so I didn’t dispute the size of that was sent out to me. Chuck then told the workers, while on speaker phone that he would have a larger truck out on Tuesday at 1 pm. That truck never arrived until 8pm. The truck was load but became of the time, the storage unit was closed and all of my belongings had to be left on the truck. Again Chuck was called and while on speaker phone Chuck stated that on Wednesday morning at 10am the truck would meet me at the storage unit. Well again I was given the run around and they didn’t arrive until around 11:45 am. When the workers called Chuck to get the final cost again on speaker phone, Chuck stated $446. As I went to the website to pay, one of the workers was hovering over me asking for a tip. So I told him that I would pay latter. I went back to my home to finish cleaning when Chuck sent me a text that the final bill was $589. While I was finishing my cleaning I noticed that the moving truck was back outside of my house. Someone then started banging on my door with rage. I was not going to open the door. They sat outside of my house for 2 hours. Then a large young black male in a GMC SUV arrived and again started banging on my door. Well I was not going out there to see what they wanted. Everyone soon left. An hour passed so I decided i would take out some of the trash. As I was putting the trash in the garbage bin a GMC SUV started roaring towards me at a high rate of speed. The large black male jumped out of the vehicle running towards me yelling “you need to pay your bill”. This guy was yelling so loudly that he began shaking, clenching his fist, he then started walking towards me. At this time he stated that “I will fuck you up and I will fuck you’re life up. You don’t know who you fucking with, I’m psycho”. As I was going into the house while he was running behind me as if he was going to attack. He then got on the phone and stated “this bitch aint worth going to jail for but come over here”. I then called the police. I gave a description of the guy since he left as I went into the house. Well the police found him down the street from my house. He was arrested. While dealing with the police a tow truck arrived at my house. The driver stated that he was called to tow my vehicle because it was not drivable. The tow truck driver showed me the phone number of the person who requested the tow and it was the number from Chuck. This Chuck guy requested to have my car towed over a money dispute.

The WORST/LAZIEST movers I have ever encountered. Start time was scheduled for 10AM they showed up at 11:35AM. Job was billed at 4 hours for $450 with 3 movers. The majority of the move was big stuff; furniture in living room, two-bedroom sets, washer/dryer/fridge and garage items. It took them 4.5 hours just to load the truck, then drive time and unloading additional time. They finally left just before 8pm. The ridiculous bill was over $850. Went back to our first location the following weekend to clean and found one closet (boxes) left behind along with other doors closed with various things they chose to just leave behind. Put in various complaints with the owner and after two weeks he finally comes back with this. They incorrectly billed us, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE, but he will credit us $46. They don't even deserve one star.

Had a move set for 10am movers showed up at 11:35. 3 man move and can tell you no urgency from the movers. Should have been a 6 hour move at most took them 8 hours. Never do a time and material move with them. Scratched the concrete floors moving the washer, dryer and refrigerator. They closed doors behind then saying the rooms were clear.
Went back a week later only to find areas with stuff left behind. Also asked then not to tip the bedroom set because we left stuff in them to move. Still tipped them. They were a mess after the move. Contacted the owner and he took over 15 mins talking and I could not even say anything. All he could say is no body wants to work and how it hard to run a business and he has to do everything. News flash your the owner so yes you need to be responsible for your employees. Have moved 3 times on the last 12 months. Worst movers we have ever had. Steer clear of them or beware. After back and forth for a few weeks they made a token refund. Waste of time.

DISCLAIMER + TL;DR on bottomSo, I feel that this company kind of suffered - rating wise - from earlier reviews. Also I feel that "you get what you pay for" should always be in everyone's mind when using ANY service. Okay, get on with it. Situation - wanted to move a few pieces of furniture from a storage unit to a residence (my home). Wanted to pay less than 300$, preferably second/third cheapest possible. Contacted 5/6 companies for quotes, 3 companies contacted me the same day. Out of 3 quotes, this business was the cheapest (on that day). Received a few quotes the next few days that were cheaper - but not by a lot, probably 20$, so just decided on TRM. I was quoted a flat rate for 2 hours and then another $/hr if it takes longer. Looked on yelp (yeah, I know I should've looked before booking BUT they didn't charge for cancelation so that eased my mind) and lo and behold, I see the reviews from customers and the comments from the owner. I decided - hey, I'm only moving a few pieces, it won't be terrible and I know I can raise a bit of hell if anything goes awry. I call the day before to confirm appointment (Saturday at 11AM). Get a call around 8:15pm/8:45 asking if I could reschedule for an earlier time - like 9AM. I was kind of peeved that anyone would call me after business hours about an appointment the day before, but eh. It seemed like an emergency. Later on that night (10pm) I found that I had to cancel and reschedule for Sunday at 3pm. Sunday comes and I get a call saying they would be late because of an earlier job. Not a big deal. They arrive on time and start moving. Took 1.75hrs to get the furniture loaded, driving and moved into the residence. (breakdown in approximations - 45 min at storage, 29 min drive, 20-ish min unload). note - I live in the NW area and the quickest route was through the beltway, which the movers took (thankfully). I've had experiences where people take the freeway to make more money. I was pretty pleased with the experience. Everything is intact and the movers were professional and efficient. I would rate 4.4/5 because - scheduling- comments to other customers+communication - had to call late to cancel, and let me know when he was running late + accurate eta +professional +efficient TL;DR Good guys, can run late, but will let you know ahead of time.

The owner, Chuck, is a liar and made no attempt to rectify the situation. I did file a chargeback in an attempt to speed up the process. You, yourself, just admitted your employee was fired for damaging other property - this is your problem for hiring people or the caliber. You didn't attempt to credit me the $70-$140 you admitted to damaging and still have not to date. If my employees damage something and I take responsibility as you just did in your response, then I would credit them what was rightfully owed to them. Also, the bed was damaged, it surely didn't go into storage like the way it was delivered to my home. There no reason to lie or make false claims. I surely am not losing sleep over $650, which was around my total price ( it's been a while, don't remember the exact dollar amount, since you took over one year to respond ). My lawyer didn't deem it false, he said you aren't even worth his time and gave my fiancée ( his daughter ) and I a replacement for the vase. Again, you have the character flaw and weren't worth going back and forth with for a few hundred dollars. I hope other people realize your lack of professionalism and reliability and hire alternative services. Happy New Year. God Bless. The point is your company is a joke and very unprofessional. No one is lying about damaged goods for a few hundred dollars. It is the principle of having a shady business. I am aware I am not getting my money back. For God's sake, it's over a year later and you're just now responding - goes to show your priorities. I left this and your shady company alone. I have more important things to do. You can sit here and lie via messages on the internet. My point of the post is to caution others that your business, or lack thereof is shady and there are better option.
