I am so God damn pissed with this company!! I don't know who is running this company, but my experience was not one of delight. Too long to put here, but here's the just. I scheduled a move between 11a-1p and 2p came and noone was here. I purposely gave them an hour pass the scheduled time, because I'm understanding and I understand how moves work. I call them and was told I should've called earlier. Then he tells me he will check to see if a crew can come out asap, because my crew was sent somewhere else. He also said they would take half off. He called back again and said they have a crew who was in sugarland area and it would be about an hour or more, but that they also had another crew who was near me, by like a mile . That crew would be done in 30 minutes or so. I chose the closer crew. . . Since they were so close... supposedly. An hour and a half later, at 3:30 PM, some guys show up. Nice guys I doubt they had any clue what was going on. They get everything in the truck about an hour later. We head out. I have EZtag, so I took the toll road to avoid the "After school/work traffic". I dont know what route they took, but I know they ran into bad traffic. It took them just about an hour and a half to get to my new house. I am so upset, because I purposely chose the time frame that I chose to avoid the traffic, which avoids higher costs and plus everyone hates traffic to begin with. It ended being a 4 hour move, when it should've only taken less than 3 hours. They didnt finish until around 7:30 PM. At this time I'm supposed to be at dinner with my parents. South Coast Movers, basically robbed me of my day/evening. I'm in disbelief on how my experience with this company turned out. I will not be recommending them. I would recommend the two guys that did the move, though. They were good and very nice and weren't with South Coast Movers. South Coast most likely called them last minute to help out, because they screwed up. It isn't fair at all, I have already started spreading the word... DO NOT USE SOUTH COAST MOVERS!!!

Used this moving company for the 2nd time for an out of town move (Houston to Austin). They were effective and got the job done with no problem. They are very professional, no wasting time, and the cheapest price I got quoted.

I have to say I was really excited to find movers that were accommodating and very reasonable. The person I spoke on the phone with was very polite and so were the movers.They arrived 30 mins late from the 2 hr window that we were given, but they did call to tell us they were running behind because of the rain. That was no big deal because it gave us time to clean and move stuff around so it was easier for them to move. The move took way longer than we thought and that was my fault. I underestimated how much stuff we had. So we offered to help the guys move some of the lighter items. Those are the reasons I'm giving them a star. After the move and endless water bottles we supplied them. We are left with a broken coffee table, a broke entertainment center, scratched up new sectional and brand new decorative table, broken one of a kind beer glasses (that were individually wrapped in bubble wrapped marked fragile on the box), and some personal belongings soaked in cleaning liquids. The movers used the dollies to load up as much as they could and pushed them down the stairs. They didn't seem to care that they had flipped the boxes over or read the boxes marked fragile. They even flipped our big furniture over to make sure they could just use the dolly, that's where some of the pieces broke and got scratched. They also placed heavy boxes on top of upside down tables resulting in our coffee table breaking. There's so much more I could elaborate on but it makes me sad that people can be so careless with other people's belongs. They even made a comment about how nice our things were. Guess we get to try and replace the nice things they broke after paying them a nice chunk and foolishly tipping them a generous amount. I booked them thinking they were a company I used a few years ago, I was greatly mistaken and will not be making that same mistake in the future. I suggest you only use this company if you're stuff is not priceless or "nice" as they put it.

These folks are very rude and condescending. Not helpful at all. Didn't want to answer any questions like I was supposed to know it all already. If this is how they treat people on the front end, whats it going to be like if i really need their support if I need to file a claim for breakage or damage. Will they accept liability?

Big roomy trailer. Short notice schedule. Great service, helpers careful with furniture. 2 helpers from this company is enough for most of the stuff. Best pricing I could find. I would recommend this company, esp. to students like me coming from out of town and need fast scheduling. So happy with their service. Will ask for their service again.
