If you have multiple items that need to be hauled off, we charge by the amount of space it takes up on our trail

History

Established in 2012. Junk Services Houston is a family operated business. We started with another franchise and found that we wanted to be more honest with our customers. Rick chose to start running his own truck and established Junk Services in late 2012 here in the Houston area. We have grown since and still operate with that honesty that first drove us to start the business to begin with.

I texted Rick at 10pm on a Tuesday night after doing an initial walk through of my mother's house and realizing two garbage cans were not going to cut it. Rick responded within 10 minutes, asked a few questions to determine by needs and then adjusted his schedule to get me a large dumpster the very next day. That is the kind of service that all small business owners should emulate! Rick called ahead of time and arrived as scheduled - even offering to help load up anything that was already staged for the dumpster. We agreed on a pickup time and once again Rick arrived on time. He helped load some last minute items into the dumpster. When he realized that the house purging task was even greater than I anticipated and therefore had not entirely finished the "purge", Rick told me I could make a pile in the garage and he would swing back by and pick it up at no charge! Don't waste your time on the large corporate haulers, call Rick, he is honest, dependable and extremely focused on customer service.

I hired Rick for a second time for another storage unit clean-out. This one was 10x10 and full. Rick was joined by his son who is a fine young man and they cleaned it fast and quick. They even allowed me to look through some boxes as I had forgotten what was in them, and then put aside what I was taking home. Rick even loaded some items from broken down boxes into better boxes so that I could take them. They were nice enough to also load the saved items into my SUV and helped me unload at my home a short distance away. Although I thought the dumpster looked full, Rick asked for less than full price because they did not "crunch and push it all to the back" and he felt it wasn't really a full load. This was an extremely hot day and they never slowed or stopped working. Rick operates a first class business and you can get your job done in a pleasant and fast way!
