For the school of music at HPC: Nick is a great teacher; my two boys love the piano camp.  I was surprised - I thought I would have to drag them, but they're now insistent upon taking more classes and lessons and buying a piano for our home.

It's understandable that salespeople are in the business of selling not charity.  So some marketing tactics are acceptable, but it seems the salesperson I dealt would say anything to make a sale.  It was just one lie after another.  I tried to be nice and politely pointed out the facts, but she wouldn't stop spinning.  In short, my experience with HPC was a waste of time and unnecessary stress.  I walked away and will probably never go back there.  (I gave 2 stars instead of 1, because the salesperson from another dealers was not much better.  Maybe lying is intrinsic to piano salespeople?  Maybe something's wrong with me?  I'm not sure.  So another start just in case).

Went to watch (and video) my cousin's two girls' piano recital. It was very inspiring.Parking can get packed quickly. The building looks small but the recital area was able to seat 50+ comfortably. The majority of the students were between 6 and 15 but there were actually two parents (of students) that started taking piano lessons too. All the kids were great and the instructor was so very enthusiastic. It made me start contemplating taking some lessons. They also sell pianos as well. Overall, it was a very nice recital. It moved promptly and the kids were all great.

This review is for the piano school associated with Houston Piano Company.  My husband has been a student in the adult classes for a few years now.  Classes are fun and the group method really works!  Nick is a great teacher.  There are convenient class times for both kids and adults.  The store has a great selection of sheet music -- everything from classical to classical rock and pop.  They offer a wide selection of pianos as well -- new and pre-owned.This is a great Heights business to support.  The people make this place!
