Advanced Apartment Movers was recommended to me by a friend. I had a last minute move, and found out on Friday that I needed to move on Sunday. I called and spoke with Wayne who was very polite, and direct. He let me know how many movers I would need to move a 2 bedroom apartment. He was straight forward with the price, which was considerably lower than other companies I called.  I wasn't asked 100 questions like other companies I called, and while at first I was hesitant, I thought, don't over think it.  3 men, $100 an hour, included everything.  Sounded good and fair to me! I moved from The Woodlands to Cypress, on a Sunday. There was no additional charge for a Sunday move. The 3 gentleman were there right on time ( a few minutes early actually), and got right to it. They were hustling. They were extremely courteous, and were very gentle and careful with my belongings.  When we arrived at my new apartment, they asked me where I wanted everything, put all the boxes and furniture in the designated rooms, everything arrived safe and sound.  Nothing broken, nothing damaged. They even went out of their way to squeeze a dresser I wanted into a tight closet. After everything was in place, they made sure I was happy where everything was, and asked if I wanted anything changed, or moved somewhere else.  Professional, prompt, courteous, and I didn't spend hundreds of extra dollars, as quoted with other movers I called. I love my new apartment and hope to not have to move any time soon, but if I do, these are the guys I will call. Will surely recommend to others. Thank you Advanced Apartment Movers!

We had the same experience as most of the others that left Yelp reviews.  We were scheduled for the 2 pm - 3 pm time slot and to make a long and grueling story short.........they never showed up.  Wayne Blacklock stopped answering the phone when we tried to call him for status updates.  I finally got him on the phone by calling from a different phone number so you could tell he deliberately was avoiding my calls.I think the part that made me the angriest is that this man lies without hesitation and honestly acts like he couldnt care less about the trouble he puts you through.  Please avoid this company and this man at all costs!  Go with a company that is reliable and that has integrity......even if is costs a few dollars more!

If I could give the company 0 stars, I would. I scheduled an appointment for today (Dec 14, 2016). I only booked the company to load items from my apartment into my Penske truck.  The initial conversation went very well and Wayne was very respectable. I was given confirmation emails from a gentleman by the name of Wayne and all of my questions were answered. On the day of the move, I did not receive any phone calls from the company to confirm the loading. I called the company to confirm and was assured of the 3 PM time slot. At 3:30, I did not hear from anyone and decided to call. The dispatcher stated she was "unaware that they had not arrived." I was told I would be called back with an ETA in 5 minutes. Instead, I was greeted with apologies and "the drivers are not answering but should be there."Nonetheless, at 6pm, after 4 phone calls to find out a status and broken promises, no one has showed & no phone call was returned to state a driver was actually on their way. I am due to travel tomorrow morning to another state and scrambled to find another mover at the last minute. Thankfully I did after being turned down 5 times.I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.UPDATE: A driver calls at 6:15PM state they are "about" 25 minutes away (for an appointment that was at 3:00 PM). How is it that you can call now but did not call me to insinuate they were running behind 4 HOURS? I informed them I no longer needed their services and that it was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The reply "oh sorry about that m'am." I just hung up.

MOVERS BEWARE! I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before accepting this company's quote. My move was scheduled over two weeks in advance. I spoke with Wayne on the phone who explained the quote. I confirmed the move addresses via email. He replied to confirm the move date and time. I received a call from Christina the day before the move confirming the appointment. On the day of the move, I called Wayne since I had not heard from them. He did not answer, so I left a voice mail. He called back saying the "drivers don't carry their cell phones with them so I have to wait until they call me" but assured me it wouldn't be long. Long story short, they NEVER SHOWED UP.  I received a call late that evening from Wayne asking if I wanted to reschedule for Sunday! If I could give them a ZERO, it would be more appropriate than one star. They are obviously overbooking themselves to the point they cannot keep up with their appointments and then are dishonest about estimated time of arrivals when they know full well they cannot keep up with the work. They caused a tremendous hardship. I will also be submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Feeling duped!!!

I have used many moving companies due to being in the military and this company is by far the worst that I've ever experienced. I booked my move 3 months ago. They quoted me a reasonable price and gave me an 8-9:00 a.m. time window. I called yesterday to confirm and everything was SUPPOSED to be good to go. I kid you not, it is 1:00 and this man Wayne has avoided my calls. He answered when my husband called from a different number. It has been lie after lie after lie from him. We just had to call another company for this last minute move due to this ridiculous and unprofessional so called company. We have already missed one appointment due to them. Please beware of this company. Moving is stressful enough and when you add that the company doesn't have the decency to even show up makes it by far the worst thing that you can experience. Do not allow Wayne to convince you of anything better than what they claim. They deserve 0 stars. I'm praying to God that the rest of the day goes smoother than what has happened so far!
