We actually had them do two separate moves for us.  My daughter was moving from our home in Pearland to a new house and her boyfriend was moving from Bacliff to their new house in Pearland.  These guys did a great job.  They worked hard; they were fast; and they took great care of all of our stuff.  I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know.  These are the fellas that you want to have in your home and taking care of your stuff!  :)

First thing to point out is we never even got to the move so this is a customer service complaint, communication complaint, but not a performance issue. I was in a bind and a1 was strongly recommended to me by one of their subcontractors and they were able to immediately come out and view the property and to do so whilediverting from from family time it was very appreciated. The issue is very clearly I stated the method of payment was to be American Express and I was told no problem will figure it out . we had three days to move. At 10 o'clock tonight before the move I received a phone call saying we can't take American Express and when I offered the solution of using PayPal I was told I'm not to go through that hassle,  leaving me to do in emergency last second 40 phone calls to try to get someone to come move my family when we had to be out of the home by certain time. I know that I paid significantly more than I would've had to because of the nonsense of been told I can pay with AMEX and then being denied the very thing that I was promised would take place I feel like they owe me money but a judge would tooI am now moving a 20,000 sq ft warehouse busy not with them. I recently employed A1 Best Movers for an inner-city move across Houston. While there are a plethora of moving companies that service the greater area I could not have been more satisfied with the truly professional, timely and courteous staff of A1 Best Movers. Their team treated my belongings as if they were their own. I highly recommend this company over any in Houston if you wish to move across town or across the great State of Texas!

I have used this company in the past with great results.  Not this time.  I moved within the same apt. complex, literally 2 buildings away.  The move took over 6 hours!!!  Not only were the movers slow, the truck was loaded/unloaded 3 times!  Why in the world would this be done! The move cost me $700, and that's after complaining to the owner about the outrageous amount of time. I was told that I should have called at that time, not Monday morning.  What?!? On top of this, I went to use my washing machine for the first time after the move only to discover it was not working...looks like it had been dropped, the drum is unbalanced and I had to call a repair service.  Now I'm out additional money for that!  I will never use this company again and will never recommend them to anyone I know. $700 + washer repair costs!  Unbelievable.  Way to gouge a Single Mom!
