The last time I moved was 6 years ago and I had terrible movers. I was apprehensive but I'm very glad I went with Welcome Home. From the moment I called I was asked and offered the Living Social deal which was great for me especially since I lived really close to their office and was not charged any transportation cost. This is definitely a professional operation from beginning to end. Richard(the owner) called 48 hours ahead to confirm the move. Brandon and Cedric arrived on time, they were dressed professional and both introduced themselves. After a walk through and started working. They were very careful with all my belonging, every piece of furniture was either wrapped with pads or shrink-wrapped. Once they finished loading they were off and arrived at my new location without delay. Furniture and boxes were placed in correct rooms in a speedy manor.Brandon did bring to my attention that there was a leak when he attached my washer so that I could advise maintenance. This was the easiest move I've ever had and not only would I highly recommend them I would use them again.

Please be careful selecting this moving company. I've moved my daughter a couple of times and this has to be the absolute the worse moving company I've ever dealt with. 1st thing in the morning they tried changing the time on me, but unfortunately I couldn't accommodate them, due to not having keys until a certain time. After that, I had to call them 3  times, and owner kept telling me, he would return my call, but never did. When they finally made it the movers said we had to pay them in cash, and that they would not make the stop to our storage as we had requested. When we called owner to complaint, the movers then tried intimidating my teenage daughter by getting in her face and confronting her about the complaint. Please be careful with this moving company. I wouldn't recommend at all!

I am a neophyte when it comes to hiring a moving company, so I go into this review from a platform of new knowledge. The company was very friendly while scheduling the move and were courteous enough to call reminding me of my appointment the next day. Based on the positive correspondence, I assumed the move would be smooth as butter. Well, it was smooth once they finally arrived.I waited, and waited, and waited until they were about 2 hours late. Considering how considerate and cooperative the mover on the receiving end of my rant was, I started to feel bad. The mover claimed to have arrived at my house on time and no one came to the door when he knocked and waited 10 minutes at my door. Unless, I went momentarily deaf, I am not sure that happened. Granted, I am known to be a space cadet from time to time. Needless to say, after the confusion they were still very calm and helpfulLike I said, once they arrived it went great and they were so friendly, enthusiastic and apologetic. I would probably use them again. Let's just hope that I don't need movers for a long time, because I suck at it.

Had a noon appointment with welcome home movers, it is now 4:21pm and they still haven't shown up. Worse than that, they haven't called me once to update me. I have to keep calling them to get information and they keep telling me they will be there in an hour or so. Just unbelievably unprofessional!

Please be aware that booking a moving date with this company may result in them sending a 3rd Party to complete the actual move. I was not satisfied with the company that was sent titled VIP Movers as the name did not align with the service I received. One of my glass night stands was cracked, stabilizing leg to my couch was lost and the move took 5 hours for a 1bedroom/1 bath. I am not pleased & wish I was made aware of the correct moving company so I could conduct more research. Not happy...
