SFL Worldwide movers is probably the worst and most dishonest company I have ever dealt with. The company is based out of TX but contracted to do work in Charlotte NC. I called and set up and paid for an appointment for 4/25/2015 over a month before my move date. Received a email confirmation with the date and time of the move. Window for the move was 8 am - 10 am. 3 days prior to the move I emailed the lady I had set up the appointment with to verify everything was all set for the Saturday move and she emailed back saying everything was all set. On the day of the move - no call no show! I called the company several times but was always transferred to an answering service where no one could do anything but take a message. Finally around 12 pm I get a hold of someone who told me that he would call me back in 15 min. An hour later I get a call back and was told something was wrong with the truck and they were running behind and I would be the next stop. Doesnt make sense since I was the FIRST stop for that day. Hours of calling and calling I finally get another call from someone else who is part of a different moving service who says he will have someone come out around 6 or 7 pm! 7 pm two men show up, no paper work and no proof of who they work for. At this point I have 4 large pieces of furniture that need to be moved because I had already moved everything else myself. They load up the truck while breaking my lamp and scratching my dresser. They unload the truck into my new place, running into walls and are just careless and in a hurry. The entire trip took about 45 min. They tell me that their boss will email me the paper work I asked for and they leave. Two days later I still dont have an email but I do have a charge on my credit card for an extra $100 from the moving company! I call once again and ask about the charge on my card. The lady proceeds to tell me that the movers took 3 hours to move my furniture. I explain to her that's not the case and I never received any documentation from the moving company and I never signed anything from the movers saying that it took that long! I was also never informed of any extra charges nor did I sign anything authorizing a charge! She then sends me a PDF form with SFL logo on it with my signature forged not once but THREE times. I told her that I would dispute the charge with my credit card company and hung up. 10 min later she called back and said she would refund the charge. Which they finally just did minus some six dollar surcharge. I also had a couch and chair that I asked them to take to the curb since I wasnt going to keep them. They asked to keep the couch and chair along with the extra pillows. Dont mind giving them away but does a reputable company do something like that?? Do not use this moving company! Im not even sure how they are still legally in business!! I plan to contact the BBB. I also left a comment on their Facebook which they have deleted.

We engaged SFL Worldwide services two weeks in advance in Houston.  Apparently their location is so new they outsource their moving services to a third party.  We were told on the day of our move the third party they hired could not be reached,  therefore the service could not be completed.  The resolutions offered were laughable.  They offered to move us the next day (uh,  no,  why would I trust you again?), and they offered a measly five dollar discount.

I have been waiting for the movers since 2pm. It is now 5pm. The office is closed. I have left numerous voicemails and emails to the company. Nobody has bothered to acknowledge any of them. I am beyond frustrated with this company. They were supposed to move items from my uhaul into a one bedroom apartment , mind you I have to turn in the uhaul TOMORROW and it's still FULL of crap that I can not lift myself. Oh and to top it off, they require a payment in advance. Scam! I wish I would have read these reviews before I ordered their services. NEVER AGAIN.

Unethical and fraud company. I used them to move my goods to India. Everything from start to finish was bad, only saving grace that I did receive my goods albeit after long delay and numerous followups. They will gave you a good quote to lure into entrusting your goods with them. But they will more than make up for the discount by absurd charges in India before handing over the shipment. The packers were bad (came without any sort of packing material). There was no shipment tracking mechanism other than emailing them, to which they don't respond. The charges are not transparent. Even after paying in full in USD, I was charged a huge amount in INR before handing over my shipment in the name of custom clearance even when there were no dutiable goods. They took almost 6 months to deliver shipment as against promised 60-90 days. Stay miles away from them, esp booking agent Punit Manchanda and owner Saumin Shah.

DON'T DO IT!I set up movers from ReloHelper (SFL) to come out this morning to unload our pod. I heard about them from Groupon. We have a very short amount of time to unload the pod as it needs to be returned tomorrow. The movers were supposed to come between 8am-10am. At 8:40am, they called and said they wouldn't be coming today....AT ALL. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. When I told them that we absolutely had to have our pod unloaded today, he said they could potentially get here this evening after an 8-10 hour job. (As if I would trust them to arrive). I told him to forget it and was fortunately able to call another moving company (it's SUNDAY) and get some last minute help. I still can't believe it. Don't even think twice about using this company--what a joke!
