I am surprised to see so many negative reviews on here! My experience with Precision was great! From beginning to end my move was easy and painless. My boyfriend wanted to rent a    U-haul but we soon realized that adding the gas costs and all the trouble it was much more worthwhile to go through Precision. We didn't regret it. It maybe wasn't the cheapest option but it wasn't the most expensive and we felt they were very reasonable and that they provided a good service.

this company operates under many names (yelp these): smart movers, delta, budget.DON'T GO WITH BROKER COMPANIES.company's name: precision moverscompany on my credit card: priority 1 from: chicagoto: la area (~2000 miles)pickup: july 24thdelivery: aug 8th (16 days)estimate: $1798actual: $2710.49 (~1000 more)one of our boxes had a hole and a stain on the side with ants crawling out of it.  when we opened the box (which was full of clothes), a knit hat of mine was covered in what appeared to be animal URINE.  moving advice: don't hire movers.  just do it yourself.  you know exactly where your stuff has been and how much it costs.it doesn't matter how many bad reviews this place gets, they will just change their name.  just avoid companies with sales people of the name BONI, KATIE (boss), KIRIN.  and also with this address: 32 Decker Dr Irving, TX 75062.  *do not go with a broker company.  it's harder to settle claims and your stuff exchanges many many hands.contact me if you to know more, see videos, or pictures of our stuff.i experienced most of what the other reviewers have as well.seriously, just drive your sh!t yourself.

First of all, I was getting quotes from multiple ccompanies regarding the move, and once I decided tto use service from Precision Movers Group, another representative had told me that they were rrated 'F' with the BBB. I noticed this, and contacted our sales rep Julia. She told me that the reason they have a bad rating is due to their company not paying $500 to BBB to be accredited. She also claimed that their comeptitions sometimes file phony complaints to make their company look bad. She assured that I will not have any issues with the moving service, and that I won't ever have to visit the BBB site, but here I am.Our items were picked up on time, but was moved to warehouse in Houston, where it seems to be pending until locating a truck going to Florida, where the items are supposed to have been delivered already.Julia was the sales rep, who was really nice at beginning, and gave us a very competitive quote. Once the contract was set and deposit was paid, we were not contacted for pick up confirmation. I had to call to arrange it myself, and luckily it was picked up in time. My wife and I are moving to Florida, and we did not secure an apartment yet. Julia explained that there will be no problems, that our stuff will be in their Florida warehouse waiting for us to provide an address. Also let me know that there is 35 days of storage included with the contract, incase we are not able to find an apartment soon.2 people, 1 male and 1 female came for the pick up. They were really nice, and were in a rented Budget Truck. Jonathan was loading by himself while his wife went over the contract with us. The quote stood, and we are not overcharged yet. We requested to contact for delivery information after the 12/2/2012. Pick up date was 11/30. Their promised delivery range on contract was 2~10 days. We came to FL, found a place and contacted them with the address. Martin picked up only to tell me that our stuff is still in their warehouse in Houston. He said that they have been waiting for an address to ship to, and I just thought that it may be a mistake on their end. I provided the address and called back next day, to see if the items have been loaded on to a truck. It has not. Another thing which I thought was shady was that Julia the sales rep appears to answer the phone, but when I ask her if she is Julia, she says no and just routes the call to customer service. Every time. And I definitely recognize her voice.I spoke with Ryan the second time. I called back number of times afterwards. I was extremely angry bbecuase my wife was to start her new job on 12/10. We figured that we would be settled in by then at the new apartment. We shipped EVERYTHING, so even though we had an apartment, we had nothing else. We had to go to local store to buy things that are necessities, just to get by for couple of days. Very inconvenient. When I spoke with Ryan the customer service rep, I was furiously angry. (although I refrained from blurting out bad words) I demanded to talk to the manager, and he told me that the manager is on vacation, and that SHE will be back after Christmas. Ryan said that he would contact his warehouse manager Jonathan, via e mail, so I requested that he cc me in on the e mail. He said that can't be done, due to his company's policy. So I requested the company policy in writing e mailed to me, and he told me that there isn't a company policy in writing, that I just have to go with his verbal version of the policy. I just got an update from them that they will be loading the truck in a couple of days. When I asked for a specific date, Martin told me 12/12/12 the Wednesday. And that it would take 2~4 days to get to Florida. This is absurd. it has been over 10 days, and it hasn't even been loaded onto the truck, that it's STILL in Houston. I also found bad and similar reviews on the company through yelp.com. I wish that I had found the reviews sooner, so that I would have gone with a different company.

I have used professional mover more than a dozen times in my life.  PRECISION MOVERS IS BY FAR THE ABSOLUTE WORST MOVING COMPANY.  DO NOT USE THEM - YOU WILL BE SORRY.  After you get your quote from a very nice person who seems more than willing to assist you, they move your items (did not at all show up on time) and then trying to get my items delivered within a 3 WEEK TIME SPAN was IMPOSSIBLE.  They are rude - Ryan in "customer service" was a complete jerk and a smart ass.  No one at this company cares when you want or get your items.  SERIOUSLY do yourself a favor and find another company.  They are a NIGHTMARE!  Wish I would have read the previous reviews before I hired them.

No professional conduct of any kind, No customer service, except rudeness. No tools to perform furniture disassemble.Improper handle personal information. The quote gave to me is inaccurate.  The delivery date is a like a cloud that can see but never able to reach. This was not my first time for interstate move, but it was the worst experience ever.   A sales lady called Boni called me and gave me a reasonable quote for moving from Chicago to Dallas.  Considering the company is registered in Irving, Texas, which is at the same metro area I am moving to, I hired Precision Mover Group without any hesitation since it is easier for me to work with them in case there are some problems.  I paid my deposit on the same day I hired them.  When I was talking to Boni over the phone in late May, I requested them to deliver my belongings to Texas no later than June 14th, and she answered very confidently that is doable.  As a result, Boni scheduled a crew to pick up my stuff from Chicago on June 7th.   After that, I heard nothing from them for any pick up confirmation.June 7th, I called Precision Mover Group asking for pick up confirmation.  The customer service answered rudely and stated that the driver will call me for the time and date.  It is not their job to call me and confirm it.  In the evening about 7:00 PM, a guy called Alex called me and confirmed the pickup time with me.June 8th, Alex showed up with two helpers around 4:00 PM.  While the two helpers were loading my belongings to the truck, Alex worked with me on the paper work.  During the loading, they brutally took apart my furniture, and used improper tools for disassembly.  When they didn't have tools for some pieces, they just said it is not their job to disassemble them and will ship as it is.  After they finished loading, Alex presented a new cost to me, that was 100% more than what they quoted me.  I understand the previous quote I received was a non-binding quote, but the number of furniture is the same as the previous quote list with few additional small foldable pieces.  For boxes, most of my boxes are medium to small sizes.  I was hammered with the surprise.  Without any other choices because they had already loaded all my stuffs to their truck, I had to pay 60% of new cost in cash or money order, with option of paying with credit card but extract 3% of service fee.  Alex told me they would also accept personal check, but the check has to be cleaned in order to set up a delivery date.  To avoid any delay, I filled the payment information sheet that included my credit card information.  At last, Alex told me moving is a service, movers will expecting 10-15% of tip on top of the cost.  I was very surprised about his demand.  Although I did prepare some money for their hard working, I am not expecting them asking me directly.  It sounded no different than a hijack.  June 10th, I called Precision Mover Group for updates.  They stated that they are working on it and I would receive call from them 2 days before requested date.June 12th, I called again, left my phone number with receptionist and asked them to call me back.  No call back.  I kept calling them, and got a statement saying "We are still working on your move".June 13th, one day before previous requested delivery day but still no response from Precision Mover Group.  My wife and I called them many times, and finally got a hold with a lady called Katie.  Her answer was the same "we are working on it".  In terms of requested delivery day, she was avoiding to answer that until my wife started screaming at her, she finally told us that our stuffs haven't left Chicago yet.  Due to my upcoming travel arrangement, I requested them to deliver on July 14th.June 14th, it is the requested delivery date, of course nothing showed up.June 15th --- July 4th, I called them many times about status, if someone answered the phone; they say "we are working on it, no status updates since there is still a lot of time".  Otherwise, receptionist just told me someone will call me back, which never happenedJuly 5th - 16th.  Waiting for their response.July 17th, driver showed up at 9:59 am, charged me additional $100 since the distance from their truck to my door is about 100 ft.  And I paid the rest balance off with cash.  They started unloading my stuff.  2 hours later, they have done unloading. Most furniture had sight of damaged on edges, 1 box is missing, my mirrors and shoes racks are missing, serious water damages on 1 big suitcase of clothes, water damage on one book shelf, mattress is ruined, and broken glassware in some boxes.  July 21st, Priority 1 moving LLC over charged me $1259.57 on my credit card.July 23rd, Called Precision Mover Group customer service, Ben state that it is a mistake and will get back to me on over charge issue before Friday.July 26th, 3 business days after I file this compliant to their customer service, no email reply, no call back.
