Point A to Point B Moving

So I was so excited to use this company. I have never used a moving company before and I dont think I will ever move with them again! I found them on Groupon. it was $89 for two hours and two movers. I called before and they told me that I didnt have to buy the groupon and they would still match the deal. Okay cool! So I set up my move like a month in advance. Fast forward to day before move.... At around 7pm Deon called to tell me they might need to cancel because of the weather.The DAY BEFORE. Here comes the stress. I called and called to look for other movers. They were booked. They weren't canceling because of weather. I found a back up mover just in case. He said that they had already cancelled another one because of weather. Basically we would play it by ear and see how the weather was on move in day. He called me at 7:30 am to check back on the weather. I told him it was sprinkling outside and that was okay. We hung up and I went to walk the grounds to see how bad the weather was. It was raining hard. They would be moving my stuff in a covered breezway, down the elevator and on the truck. Shouldn't be a problem. I called him back to make sure they were able to do the move. I told him the rain was coming down harder and that they wouldnt be in any rain. He sounded unsure, so I told him if he wanted to cancel it then it would be fine because I have back up movers coming. rain or shine. He insisted that they could do the move and he had already called his movers.Background info: I had called before and told them I am on the third floor moving to a second floor apartment. They could either use the stairs (which were right outside my door or walk down the hall to use the elevator.) I also asked if they had the 4 wheeled flat dollys to pack more stuff on and he told me yes. I was quoted $169 with fuel, stairs, and a 2 hour move. I had woke up and put ALL the boxes outside so it made an easier move. I even put the table and chairs out there. The only things left in the apartment (648 sq ft) were two mattresses, a couch and a washer and dryer.So they chose to move the little stuff first. (which was already outside the apartment.) They showed up with these small standing dollys that held MAYBE 3 boxes( compared to maybe 6 on the flatbed dolly) The whole move took 3 1/2 hours totaling $302. I did not think that an apartment THIS SMALL would take that long. I asked one of the movers why did it take so long... he said that they moved everything down to the elevator and dropped it off, then moved it to the bottom floor and then onto the truck. AFTERWARDS, they had to rearrange the items on the truck.For some reason it took 2 1/2 hours to load the truck and only 30 mins to unload it. For a first move, this was a horrible experience. I should have just cancelled when they said that they might not be able to do it.

Great guys!! Deon and Chris were so easy to work with, beyond helpful. Not only did they take extra care with my things but they were great about moving everything on the hottest day we've had this summer so far. I'm definitely going to use this company again for any future moves.
