I have used Movestar for 4 moves. I can not say enough about the trust level I give these guys. They treat your things gently. While they are not the cheapest company to use, I think that most of the complaints you will see are just that. You won't hear about mishandling of items or showing up late. I would rather pay more than have broken TV's and chipped tables. I've been looking at other reviews because Movestar is booked the weekend I need them. Based on other reviews I'm just going to book Movestar to move me during the week even though it's not convenient for me. It will keep my sanity.

Just finished a move with Movestar, and with the exception of one little hiccup in planning the move, it was a completely flawless experience.  (The hiccup didn't cause any delay, just a slight miscommunication.)  Barry and the guys were incredible, and very careful with my things without being too slow.  Not only that, they finished well faster than my estimated time and saved me $$.  I highly recommend Movestar to anyone who is considering a move.  It took the headache out of it for me, and it saved a huge amount of time.  On time, never stopped moving and nothing was damaged in the slightest.  The wrapped everything up and asked me just enough questions to make sure I got what I wanted without asking so many I was annoyed.  Can't say enough good things about Movestar.

I'll keep it short: Moved from Frisco to Dallas (26 miles).  3 person crew, 5.5 hours, $1215.00 was the final charge.

Just an update--later last spring, after my great experience with Movestar, my parents used them to pack and move a bunch of their stuff into their new house.  They had used another company (unfortunately I don't know who it was) to move from their old house into storage, and those movers had done an awful job and had broken a lot of my parents' stuff.  They told me they had a 1000% better experience with Movestar.  Thanks Movestar for doing a great job for me and my parents.

This move was for a one bedroom apartment .I've moved twice since living in Dallas and this one did not go well. They showed up 30 min late, I had everything pretty much ready to go and told them how I wanted the trailer loaded (big stuff, bed, kitchen table, coffee table) at the front of the trailer. I get downstairs to take another load and see they've started putting all the boxes in first, in addition to that there's a good 18in of height wasted all the way to the back of the trailer. I got charged for an hour and a half that was close to an hour and they charged me for fuel costs even though they said they wouldn't because I live less than 1/2 a mile away.Total costs $200 for an hour of "help" now I'm going to have to either unload part of the trailer and redo it or figure out a way to put everything left in my truck.
