*Long Review*I am giving 3 stars because I ultimately got two guys that were AWESOME (Bruce and Derae), but please see below for the ordeal of my day and my recommended considerations. My scenario: One-bedroom apartment on the fourth floor of my building with an elevator to a two-story townhouse type condo with stairs. K&T movers were mostly only used to move the furniture and large bins. The ordeal: The location that we were moving to needed some attention to allow the movers to get in the best (as my boyfriend in his need to help, took several boxes the night before but left them directly in the path of the movers), so my sister stayed at my place so my boyfriend and I could go to the new place and finish prepping. The first movers (I have their names, but giving benefit of doubt that it was just an off day) arrived early at 11, which was fantastic. When the men arrived to my apartment, my sister escorted them and was told at that time that they would not be able to move the TVs (60" and 32") without them being in boxes. I explained that this had not been mentioned on the phone when the representative gave me instructions for ensuring a smooth move, but indicated that it was fine I knew both items could fit in my SUV it was just one more unnecessary pain of the day. With that said, I did react (without thinking mind you) and stated that I would just make sure and note this as a negative in the review of their services. Unbeknownst to me, my sister had me on speaker phone :), so the movers heard me and took umbrage. At that time, their office called me and to be frank made everything worse. First, I spoke with Jennifer, she indicated that all of the information regarding the TVs had been in the confirmation email. I told her it may have been but I must have missed that part, but reiterated that it was definitely NOT mentioned in the phone call where they made sure to mention about their piano policy...just saying I think TVs are a more common thing to ensure patrons, especially apartment ones, know your policy on. I reiterated to Jennifer that it was fine, that I was still in the middle of trying to get the delivery location ready for them, and then we got disconnected (I was told she didn't hang up on me). When I called back, I spoke with Rick. I explained to him that I had absolutely not intended to be rude or short with the movers, was just venting my frustration to my sister, and that I apologize for any hurt feelings. I said I would appreciate it if they would honor the booking as agreed upon, or let me know otherwise so I can take my business elsewhere. After some back and forth, I was told that the current movers were uncomfortable doing the move,  but that the next available movers would be routed to my location and would be there when they got there. I agreed, at this point I so didn't care, I just wanted to get the last things moved. Honestly, it was like I was negotiating with family members that were doing the move for free, not individuals with a business that I was paying for their services. Meanwhile, my sister had informed me that only one of the men had refused to do the job, while the other guy was already loading items that he subsequently had to unload when his partner refused the job. She stated that the guy that had gotten upset, arrived upset and complaining about the distance they had to walk to get to and from the elevator. Previous movers did more in less time with no issue. His reason was that he didn't want a bad review and though I might not honor the payment as he explained to my sister. His partner looked thorough annoyed with the behavior of this guy my sister noted. When my sister told me this it made total sense, because when I spoke to Rick he kept asking if it was a long walk from the elevator to the truck and to my apartment. The second movers, Bruce and Derae (SP ???), arrived shortly thereafter. Within the hour they had all of my furniture wrapped and down to the truck. NO ISSUES AT ALL! A couple of pieces of furniture took some finagling to get through the condo door, but they handled it masterfully in the heat mind you. They were super nice and very professional. We told them about the morning dilemma, and even they seemed to indicate that this was not out of the norm for the mover that had gotten upset. The situation was completely blown out of proportion. Even though I was partly in the wrong, it wasn't deliberate. I cannot imagine that the incident was the worst that they have or will encounter, so the staff really should be prepared to deal in a more professional manner. Success in a service-focused industry requires skill in the management of customers without escalating situations.  As for K&T moving as a whole, I recommend them with hesitance, just be aware. Overall, the guys I ended up with did a great job, so if you do choose K&T, I recommend requesting Bruce and Derae specifically.

These guys were an absolute gift from the Heavens for us during our move! My wife and i have moved numerous times from apartment to apartment in the last few years, and we have always enlisted the help of family and friends to do it and have never hired professional movers before. This time, that was not an option, so I did some research and landed on K&T and could not be happier with my decision. Big Sean and King were the most efficient and hardworking movers that we could have possibly asked for, they got all of our stuff packed up and moved within 2 hours, when I originally booked for 3 hours (we only paid for 2 at the end instead of 3). I will be specifically requesting them when we move again!Even though we do not have a lot of things that are considered extremely valuable, they handled everything with the care as though were the most expensive things money could buy!Prices were fair compared to other places that quoted me, but I would have paid double for the level of service that they provided. If you are looking for movers, look no further!

Big Sean and Lil Zach were great! Moved me from my 3rd floor apartment to a house. Very professional and helpful! Definitely recommend K&T Moving to others!

The movers were great. I live in Austin and found them on Groupon. They showed up an hour early but I was not home. The price was super reasonable even with fees. I only did 4 stars because the lady I booked with told me I had to empty all my drawers but when the movers got there they just wrapped them anyway. Also they took my light bulbs out my lamps and I can't find them. But I'm still unpacking. The guys worked hard considering it was 103 degrees outside. Will def use them again.
