First Choice Moving

This was definitely the best move I've ever had, and it had all of the ingredients for being the worst. We were closing on both old and new house on the same day, had to move out the day before closing, and move in on closing day. Management was great. They kept me updated along the way with times, tips, etc. Constantly checked in with me to get ideas on when and what would work. I will say that you can never be sure with the actual movers because crews change, but a helpful management is important. Saying that though, our crew was amazing! Three of the hardest working guys I've ever seen. They've apparently been with the company for a while which is why I definitely suggest these guys. Everything was handled with care and they even helped pack up a few loose items. I've thought if I ever reviewed a moving company, it would be bad. Thankfully, I was wrong. I'm very happy with my overall experience and could not recommend them enough.

Great experience with everyone we encountered throughout the process. We needed last minute movers and they really pulled through for us. We will be repeat customers and refer friends here!! Great customer service :)

Very personable, responsive and provided an extremely accurate quote based on the Zillow pictures of our home we were selling in Denton Texas to move us ~3-1/2 hours away in East Texas. Two trucks rolled up on time, exactly when the owner said they would. The four gentlemen that moved us were a pleasure to work with and did an excellent job of playing truck-space Jenga. My wife was in pure amazement that they got everything we asked to be moved into only the two trucks and unloaded in our new home in less time than estimated!One thing that I should point out is that we (mainly my wife) did a majority of the packing ourselves beforehand which saved us several hundreds of dollars in the end. As for the move itself, there were a few boxed that were slightly crushed during the move. However I am certain I could not have done a better job and certainly could not have moved all of the major appliances and furniture as quickly and efficiently as these guys did.Bottom line, if I had to do it all over again, I would certainly use First Choice Moving without hesitation.

If I could give six stars I would. I have now used First Choice Movers 3 times. 2 larger home moves and an apartment move. My experience in all 3 moves has been exceptional. Note, I am also very picky when it comes to having my stuff moved. The crews are professional, friendly, courteous and take great care with your things. All my furniture was wrapped in plastic and then wrapped with blankets. This also included my large screen tv which some movers will charge you extra to move. The pricing is fantastic, I compared with several other highly rated movers in the area. A nice touch is they give you the use of wardrobe boxes for free. I spoke directly with the owner David throughout the whole move. This includes planning beforehand and he even called during the move to make sure all was going well. Everything was moved with no issues and within budget.

Horrible experience! I hired First Choice Movers to move my items from a house in McKinney to an apartment in Plano. What a disaster!  The owner was too lazy to come out to my home to give an accurate quote so just provided a phone estimate.  The cost ended up being double $1,000 vs $500, the truck could only fit two-thirds of my things which ended up leaving me to make 10+ additional trips using 3 SUV's to finish the move. In addition, the movers broke/lost parts to 3 furniture items (one was my sons crib which cannot be used anymore), didn't not shrink wrap MOST of my furniture items, made rude comments and worked at a snails pace.  When we contacted the owner during the process and after he would not take ownership for any of issues and only made excuses.They should not be in business.
