Dishonest company.  They did a good job moving us out of Dallas but everything fell apart upon delivery in Washington.  They lost a piece of furniture, broke a few things and put a huge gouge in my floor.  I submitted the claim for the insurance but the insurance company won't pay for damage and said it was Fine LIne's responsibility.  Fineline will not answer their phones, will not return my calls and have disconnected their cell phones. Very Shady! I finally got through and it sounds like they have changed their name to ProLine Movers.  Beware.  I am putting a warning out on Pro Line and have filed a complaint with the Feds.

Please do not use this moving service. They were 5 hours late for pickup. They should have around between 6-9am in the morning but arrived past 1 am instead. We had to drive across country the same day with three kids and a dog so time was of essence to us. Once the movers arrived, the boss supposedly calculates all of your boxes, furniture, etc. We had more boxes than expected so we knew our move would cost a tad bit more than the quote. However, the mover calculated our move to cost double the original quote.  I couldn't figure out how it was possible until I realized, all too late, that they overcharged us for the cubic feet. The mover charged 4.5 cubic feet for all of our boxes rather than charging for their actual cubic feet! Some boxes were x-small, small and medium. So, the cubic feet should have corresponded.   At pickup, the mover gave me an ultimatum:  either pay double the original quote  or pay him $300 cash under the table and he will give me a base (label) rate for the move. Of course, we were stressed out with the kids and the movers were so late. We really needed to get on the road and the mover took advantage of that. We withdrew $300 cash and gave it to him so that he would charge us a base rate.  The mover acted like he was giving us a special deal and his intent was to take advantage of us. Our delivery took longer than 21 days to arrive.  Upon delivery, our TV stand was broken and Versace china set had a few plates broken. Our other furniture was scratched up a bit.   You have to fill out a claim form that is very lengthy and time consuming, difficult process if any of your items are broken or damaged. I emailed and called the moving company several times concerning the ultimatum that was given to us. One representative, named Carmen, told me in e-mail that if I send her back some sort of proof that her company would cut us a check for the  loss.   The only proof I had was the withdrawal receipt corresponding to day and time of move.  This proof wasn't enough for Fine Line Relocation.  This morning, I left a voicemail because its hard to get someone on the phone first try.  I did receive a call back. The rep. verbatim said, "  Who in their right mind would pay cash under the table and not call our office instead to report the incident?"   She then continued to insult my intelligence in a similar matter in a loud tone and voice. I hung up. Please, save yourself the trouble and deal with another company. The original estimate might sound good but once the drivers arrive to pick up your move, you have to be really experienced in moves and know what you are doing in order to not be taken advantage of.

Very poor experience with Fine Line Relocation this past summer. I wish I had gone with a different carrier. I did fire them and hire a different carrier because I was so upset with what they were doing, but they kept my deposit. They were nice at first but once they took my deposit they became very difficult to deal with, would not respond to messages, told me they would give me a refund and then didn't, other lies, I could go on and on. Checking out the FMCSA federal site I see that they are not allowed to operate any longer because of "Refusal of audit/no contact". The TXDMV.GOV shows the state has their status as revoked. They had non-compliance with consumer protection requirements and non-compliance with insurance requirements (penalties assessed). The TX DMV has the address of the company as Plano now, I'm guessing it is the owner's personal address. I wish the feds had shut them down sooner. The "F" rating by BBB is appropriate. If they open back up, avoid them at all costs.

This company is a fraud and a rip off. I was to move from Humble, TX to South Carolina. The total price they quoted me was around $1779 so the 10% deposit was$177. My scheduled move date was August 21st, 2016. I received a phone call from a lady named Mary on Saturday, August 20th, 2016 at 6 pm central time saying my scheduled pick up time was between 12p-2pm August 21st. So August 21st comes and I got up early to get things situated, keep in mind I got the full package (the movers pack and move everything), but yet I still got up early to organize everything. As I'm waiting for the movers time is passing and no one shows up. It was past 2pm and no one ever showed up or called. I called the number for the company over ten times and got no answer. I called the number the lady Mary called me from and left a voice message. Much time has gone by and I haven't been able to reach ANYONE. I mean I paid these people a deposit and no one is answering nor has anyone showed up.It was 6:33 pm CT when I received a call from some man saying he was at the house to pick up my stuff. I told him I received a phone call August 20th saying someone will be here between 12-2pm to pick up my things. I told him I've been calling all day to reach the company and this if the first time I'm hearing from anyone. He told me, "I spoke with you at 11am and told you there would be some issues." I wanted to EAT THIS MAN UP! I told him he was a liar and I'm not giving my things to him. He did not once call me before 6:33pm August 21st. He then asked me was I cancelling, which means I cancelled less than 24hrs and the company keeps my deposit, I told him I want to speak with the company because it's very unprofessional how business is being conducted. I then received a call from Mary and her supervisor. The supervisor tried to tell me there was an issue with me cancelling and that's when I let him have about the unprofessional mover and the business they're running. The supervisor told me if he found out the guy was lying to him he would handle it right then and there. Supposedly the man never answered his phone. I told the supervisor I want my money back. Mary and her supervisor were to call me back. I never received a call back. I followed up on Monday, August 22nd, 2016 to see what was going on and Carmen answered. She said she didn't know what was going on and would try to get me in contact with the Supervisor. I never received a call back. To this day, September 17th, 2016 I've never heard back from the company nor have I received my money back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY AND MONEY WITH THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY. YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR DEPOSIT AGAIN AND IF YOU ACTUALLY GIVE THEM YOUR BELONGINGS YOU MAY NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN. THIS IS A WARNING SO PLEASE TAKE HEED.

This company does not know how to provide customer service or conduct decent business. They fail to return phone calls or messages. My belongings were picked up on July 27 in Houston. On August 2 I was notified by a police officer that the moving truck that my belongings were on was involved in an accident around 2am on July 29 between Houston and Dallas. The police officer was kind enough to pick up scattered photos in order to return them to their owners. This was why he called me. Have I heard yet from Fine Line Relocation? NO! I have left numerous voicemails, an email and have talked to their receptionist. She doesn't understand why we would even except to hear from them until insurance has assessed the damage. Hello, all of my belongings were in an accident, that is appears, was your driver's fault!! I understand accidents happen, but if you don't have the common courtesy to notify your customers of an accident and assure them that you are diligently working on assessing the damage, you do not deserve to be in business. Still waiting to talk to a manager.
