The guys showed up on time and called 1 hour before arrival. Marquin and Sam were both very friendly and funny! They both wrapped all of our big items and asked if we needed extra pads. They were both so quick--moving items out and down the hall as fast as they could. We had a long walk, then down the elevator and they did not complain. When we arrived at the storage unit, the elevator was not working so they had to unload and walk a very long way once again. This made our move from 2 hours, turn into 3 hours however it was by no means their fault. They were very fast and it would have happened with any company. My fiancÃ© and I truly appreciate Delicate Movers, Genie was very professional and helpful. Sam and Maquin were the best!

They are very delicate, that is for sure. Items are wrapped well when needed and handled with care. However, compared to other movers I've used in the past, they are extremely slow (and thus expensive). Several hours slower than others. Because I was having my stuff put in their storage facility, they created a detailed inventory of every box or item stored (this is good). However, while one guy was working on the inventory sheet, the other two workers were just standing around waiting. This happened on numerous occasions. Plus, my crew moved with a general lack of urgency, both loading and unloading. The officer manager was very sweet and nice to work with. However, I would definitely try my previous movers before calling again.

I was glad I hired Delicate Moving for a move from town to the burbs. They were amazingly careful, and wrapped up every piece of furniture like gifts, in clean black blankets, so there's no worry about scratches or dents, including your walls.The crew was fast, calm, quiet and efficient. Very professional and respectful. Eager to get it exactly the way we wanted, not just dropping and running. They even arranged our furniture as we wanted, so they would be good for an elderly or disabled customer. Everything happened on time. The estimator was professional and pleasant.I will be hiring them again for another job this month, and would highly recommend them.

Very nice gentlemen that did my move, but they were super, super slow. They were delicate, alright, but it took them about two extra hours to move my furnishings. This isn't a problem when you're given a solid quote, but this moving company charges by the hour. Which gives their employees zero incentive to work at a decent pace. One more thing... they will wrap anything they feel like. Which adds a lot of time to the clock.

They certainly were delicate but definitely took longer then it seemed they should have. It took five hours to load half the truck and unload in storage unit that was literally around the corner. Everything was already dissembled. They did take a lot of time to wrap up each item.Now they really are delicate and did get the items into the storage unit really maximizing the space. We were in a pinch and would have preferred to not have had to use movers but with a house fire we had to get everything out over the weekend. With not having much money to spare and not being the type that would typically hire movers, this swayed my judgement a bit because i know we would have moved it ourselves much quicker. But nothing was damaged and aside from the slow pace they are nice guys and do a good job handling your stuff.But I wouldn't hire them again unless they were one of the few options left or i didn't care about money. Cause they did a great job being delicate.
