DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!  Totally unprofessional and not in the business of customer service.  I moved my stuff from Texas to Philadelphia.  I had the same experience as somebody who wrote that they asked additional money be paid to offload to my house because of the distance.  What a joke.  The guys arrived at the end of day ~330pm in December; ITS DARK.  We demanded they return the next day in the AM when you actually SEE.  So they finally arrived and had 2 helpers from craigslist to help them.  These aren't movers. To make matters worse, I am now dealing with damaged goods and several boxes that are MISSING (STOLEN???).  SO they're not only terrible at their jobs but they're criminals.  Their insurance carrier is garbage and I am dealing with this first hand.DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!

Below is the personal unbiased review from a common man.I booked alloverthestate.com movers for my shipment needs from Texas to Tampa. They reached my pick up place on time with a penske truck and the movers were so professional and gave me a quote and contract to sign.I paid them half of the quote and agreed to pay remaining upon delivery.I did not had much time to read their contracts which was like 3 pages as i was in a hurry for my flight. When i asked them to deliver, it was a different story altogether. They brought my things on a 18 wheeler truck and the driver called me and told that he cannot enter the premises and he asked for additional $350 for shuttle service to move my things from the truck to my apartment which is hardly 1000ft away. I thought of bringing my own vehicle to save the money.so when i reached my home from office the driver was very rude and asked me to pay for waiting fee and also he would unload it on the sidewalk and go.I decided there is no point of paying him if he's gonna leave my things on the sidewalk.I refused to oblige his demands and he left with his truck without deliveringNext day, I spoke with the manager of the alloverthestate.com, I dont want to mention his name here as i dont have any vengeance of anyone. He told me to come and pick the things up from Miami which was like 4 hours away from my place and to pay the amount in double in order to redeliver. He was not in the intention to help me and made up my mind that my things are lost forever. observation:1. All their hidden fees are in their contracts and they fulfill all their rules to meet it.Dont get carried away by their lowest estimate2.Guys, how do you feel if your things are thrown on the streets and leave you helpless3.The same people who were so nice during pickup, have shown their true colors on deliveryI wish nobody should be treated in this manner. It is just a heads up for you guys

This company is a total scam and dishonest. DO NOT for any reason do business with them. The cost of your move will be double the estimate. They will tell you over and over that "we will call you a week before the free 30 day storage is up" They won't!! and then will say you are lying that no one told you that.  They add charges for everything.  Won't return calls,  I Can't select 0 stars or -5 or I would.

This was a very awful experience with this company. The driver arrived without calling as stated. When he walked in I showed him items that was listed on my contract. He immediately saw the bunk bed and said it looked like a double bed. I stated a bunk bed is and always has been two beds and he said well let me check. He googled it for about 20 minutes and then went over other times. His counter part was ready to move but the driver was for some reason trying to find things wrong. After he did the inventory he stayed that I owed $927 additional fee. I lost it after he attempted to upcharge me. I called the moving brokers and they calmed me down and was able to tell me that the mover said that I slapped the paper out of his hand and that it wasn't $927 but $427 additional charge. Luckily the moving brokers worked with me and looked for another company and I pray that the company is not like this one. I read about how moving companies try to upcharge but I was hoping I wouldn't experience it.

We had no choice but accept this company because Alliance Moving Services missed our pickup date. We weren't even notified about this company until we received a new estimate via email. We got subcontracted. They demanded more money from us then the original agreement with Alliance. We had a hassle about credit card payment but that was resolved. We were told to ask the driver when it would be delivered. We asked the driver and he said when do you want it. We said on the first of June. We called the office on the first and they said "I did check on your delivery but at this time I do not have any concrete information.  As soon as I do I will let you know". Later we found out the load was promptly put in storage. "Tuesday, 06/02/2015; As per our conversation this morning, I am following up with information I just received. It looks like you will be loaded up on Friday (June 3) and when your driver is 24 hours always he will call and let you know what time he will arrive." Apparently they don't know people work and have to schedule time off. June 8, The office said that the truck has been in transit for 3 days. Has one stop before us. Should hear from driver on the 8th or the 9th. Then we were told we needed cash for the balance before they can unload. We were missing a floor lamp. Also we had to pay extra because the distance from the truck to the loading dock was more than 75 feet. It was 103 feet.
