I contracted Aikman Moving to Load my furniture for a Long Distance load only for  Colorado. The movers did an outstanding job making the truck grow as I was afraid everything wouldn't fit in. The hutch to my desk got damaged only because the high winds blew it off the dolly. Tommy from the office explained the company policy and I admit I felt offended as to the industry standard but, You really can't expect for a moving company to replace or pay for a new hutch top. I received the 64 cents per pound discount on the spot and the rest I claimed on my home owners policy. I was so impressed by the honesty and professional attitude by this company that I hired them again by phone from Colorado to move my Daughter back in Texas. Not only did the movers showed up on time but they made my young daughter feel safe and sound by disassembling and reassembling everything and putting the boxes in the room she asked them to. I was able to pay by phone and all my daughter had to do was relax. Aikman Moving displays pride in the equipment and pride in their job.Thanks again Aikman Moving. When I return to Texas, rest assure I will call you to unload my furniture.

I used Aikman to move from my apartment into a storage unit today, and I can't say enough great things about them! They said they would arrive between 10 & 12, and they showed up at 10 on the nose & got right to work. Everything was loaded up within 30 minutes, and they were friendly & courteous throughout. Getting everything into the storage unit had me nervous, but they used some "creative stacking" to get everything in with plenty of room to spare. I will definitely call on them again next month when I move out of the unit into my new condo, and I will highly recommend them to all my friends!

On first glance this moving company looked great.  Brad, the man who gave us an estimate, was very professional in his manner, dress, and words.  He did a great job with the estimate and was very professional and understanding when our move day had to be pushed back by about 2 months.  The whole atmosphere changed when the actual movers showed up.  They came about 2 hours late because of the rain.  It was just a rainy Dallas morning.  No severe storms in sight.  Every other word out of their mouth was "this isn't my first rodeo."  Between the sob stories about how they don't make much money so tips are needed and the refusal to load the truck b/c it was raining my husband and I were not impressed.  I strongly considered asking them to remove the items from the truck, and we would find another company to move us.  I wondered if our items would ever get to Austin.  The 2nd day they loaded the truck (after of course showing up late again b/c of the rain.)   Their truck broke down, but they did not tell my husband who was waiting for them to arrive at the storage facility.  I just happened to see them getting a jump start at the local gas station.  They skirted around this issue when we asked them just saying they were "on their way."  After arriving in Austin late in the evening (almost 9pm.)  They would only move the furniture and wardrobe boxes into the house.  The rest they begged us to leave in the garage b/c they had to get back to Dallas that night, and it was late.  They continued to fish for tips the whole time they moved us in.  One of the movers even refused to help the others bring boxes in because he was coughing a lot.  Overall, I was extremely disappointed in this company and would not recommended them to anyone!

We used Aikman Moving to move our things over the weekend.  They showed up at the scheduled time.  The two young men did a fantastic job!     They completed everything in the time frame that was estimated, and they took excellent care of EVERYTHING!  So impressed with their service.  We are in a temporary place right now and will be moving again in a few weeks.  I will def use them again! Prior to choosing a moving company, I went on line and got quotes from several businesses, and then read a reviews on the BB. I read a review from a former customer who had complained about Aikman Moving Service. After reading the response from Aikman Moving, it made me want to give them a shot.  I know from past experience, the customers sometimes think that a business owner should treat them like royalty, regardless of how the customer treats the business owner.  I was right to go with my instinct and trust them to do the job.  They did an excellent job, and I couldn't be more pleased with their service.  I highly recommend them to help you move.
