I got nothing but good things to say about 1st generation. they showed up in time finished my two bedroom house in lass then 4 hours everything was wrapped Ian’s back the right way , very professional I definitely recommend 1st generation

Just had my offices moved from L.A. California to carrollton Texas. I did an online search and ended up contracting 1st generation after reading their reviews, talking to their staff and getting a quote. I couldn't be happier with their service. Their crew showed up on time, and took the best care with our belongings. On the scheduled delivery they showed up before I even got to the new offices. All my stuff showed up in the same condition it left and on time. The best part is that what I ended up paying was 20% less than all the other quotes I got. Way to go 1st generation movers.

Worst movers..The guy named Dart is the biggest fraud.They have not delivered our stuff for more than a month .Whenever we call them they just extend the dates sometimes they say the truck is loading stuff right now later when we call and ask about the stuff they say there is no space in truck to load just our stuff.The guy named Dart is the person who says all these.We should take legal action against these fraud movers who are trying to fool people by playing with our own stuff.Please guys make sure you are moving stuff with genuine people not like these movers.

If you are reading this, please do not use 1st generation moving. They lie about the quote for one thing, they do no not communicate well with the details on your move, you have to reach out to them for any questions you may have. I had the estimator come out and do a quote and when he came I had a full house so the total he came up with was 3500, so I said no way and had a massive garage sale and all we had left were boxes, bed, dresser and a TV.   I called and told them exactly what I had so the quote came down to 1500, great right? Not even close, they came to load everything up and when it was all said and done this man said we owed 3200$!! All of our stuff was in the truck and we had to move that day so I was forced to pay, I was so outraged! If you are still reading please please read the fine print with this moving company, I would never in my life recommend 1st generation moving to anyone I know. DO NOT USE THEM!

Just the worst.I was moving from Dallas to LA. They came over to wrap and pack my stuff, which was fine. I asked them when they would get to LA. I said could you get there on Thursday or Friday? They said absolutely.So I drive out to get there Thursday, and then I get a call once I'm there, they won't be there until the following Wednesday. So I have to sleep in an empty apartment on the floor for 5 days before they come. They don't care about the customer.Also, when moving furniture from the truck to the apartment, they will try to nickle and dime you anyway possible.They also ruined my couch, and said it's okay, just file an insurance claim. The insurance company they use comes back with $75 compensation. What kind of couch am I suppose to buy for $75? This was a nice leather couch. I did not accept the compensation - I would not let them off.On top of that, one of the movers stole my box cutter knife, admitted to it after the fact when I called him, and then made no effort to return it to me.Do not work with these guys. Except for the initial wrapping and packing, they will screw you at ever level.-Alek
