If you need a good moving company, check out ABF Upack. I have used them three times over the last four years for cross country moves and they are amazing. You pay by the amount of truck space you use and I have never been misquoted. Also, each truck has a tracking number so you know when your stuff will arrive. They have great customer service. I would recommend them to anyone.

This company is the best! I needed to move our stuff from Philly to Austin, ABF took care of the city permit and delivered the box on time. Packed it up and they took it to Austin without any problem, I tied everything down and nothing was damaged as a result. They delivered it to my apt complex in Austin, and pick-up was simple to arrange. If you don't drive, or don't have much to move, I highly recommend using ABF/UPack!

We used U-Pack for our move from the Allentown area to Central Texas - a big move for us in every sense of the word. U-Pack's service was superb and every employee we spoke with was polite and helpful. They lowered our anxiety and provided service above and beyond our expectations. All of our goods arrived safely, on time and the cost was very reasonable. We hope we never have to move again, but if we do, we would not hesitate to call U-Pack. I used u-pack for my move from Philly to Cincinnati a few weeks ago. This was beyond the easiest out of state move I have ever experienced! They delivered the relocube to my apartment in Philly on time (and took care of the city permit to park it - awesome!), picked it up on time, and it arrived in Cincinnati a few days ahead of schedule. All of the ABF staff I interacted with were super friendly and helpful, from the customer service agents who helped me book my relocube, the local terminal staff who handled the specifics of delivery, pick up, and permits, and the drivers. I was a little worried about things shifting around in the relocube during transit, as I didn't have enough stuff to pack it all the way to the ceiling, but everything arrived in good condition in Cincinnati. I think proper packing really helped in this case -- I made sure to use good cardboard boxes, lots of packing paper and bubble wrap, and used fabric blankets and stretch wrap on all of my furniture. Additionally, I used rope to tie down all of my heavy furniture once it was loaded into the pod. I ordered most of these supplies through u-pack's website, and they were reasonably priced. One thing I didn't realize until my relocube arrived - you actually need TWO padlocks to lock each relocube, so make sure you pick up two of those for each relocube ahead of time.Overall, I am so pleased with u-pack and will definitely be using them again in the future! It was by far the cheapest option for my move (they even offered me a discount for booking online and for being a graduate student), and it was so nice to not have to sit in an uncomfortable moving truck and lug my stuff across two states myself. I wanted to go out of my way to review this great company because they have impressed me over and over - and this was my first time using them!  I got 2 containers and stuffed all of my worldly possessions into them, then had them ship them from Phoenix, AZ and store them at their site near Philadelphia for 3 months.  99% of my items shipped perfectly and the 1% that had damage were a mattress & wood mirror that got water damage since they were shoved against the door.  When I notified the company of the mattress water damage, they sent me a check to cover the replacement within 1 week of filling out the claim form online - amazing.  Weeks later, I noticed the mirror had damage (it's taking me a while to unpack) and they sent a check within a week - and I was worried they'd give me trouble because they already sent me a check, but that was not the case at all.  While my containers were in storage, the ladies in the office were more than helpful in helping me locate and access them to remove a few items.  They even did a great job when they dropped the containers off at my new home in Delaware - they were so easy to unload.  Not only was moving from Phoenix to Philly a breeze (sooooo much better than dealing with the exhaustion of a U-Haul 4-day miserable adventure), but it was nice to have more time to load and unload the containers.  If it were U-Haul, I'd have to rush to load and unload the truck to return it in time.  I HIGHLY recommend this company and way of moving and I will DEFINITELY use them again.  PS - Their prices are nearly 50% cheaper than competitors like PODS.  What a great deal AND it makes moving easier.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
