Our friends recommended Town & Country.  We have used them for two moves and have found them to be incredibly professional.  There have been no surprises between estimated and actual costs, our furniture and goods arrive safely, and the team could not be nicer to work with, from Terri in the office, to Mike who provided the initial estimates, to the actual movers.  They also have a great service to provide and collect moving boxes and an arrangement with Habitat for Humanity to take furniture that you can no longer use off your hands.  They are currently storing some furniture for us, and we will use them again to deliver it to its  next home.

I have moved 5 times over the past 16 years and this is the worst experience I have had by far. The owner came out and took a look at our 5 bedroom house and provided an estimate. Well, when they arrived to pack, the person tagging the items took so long he had to be told to stop and help pack so I had no log of my items; then all of my belongings did not fit in their truck! They told us it was our problem so my husband and I had to rent a truck and make two hour long trips back and forth to transport the rest of our items. Why come out to do an estimate if you're not going make sure you have a big enough truck for all of your client's belongings? Not a great experience. All my other moves with other companies were stress FREE this was stress FULL!

Mike, the owner, was very punctual in coming out to provide an estimate and explained the process in detail. The guys showed up the first day an hour late but they called to give me notice plenty of time in advance so it's all good. They worked pretty efficiently on both ends, incurred only very minor damage (leg broke off of one of our dining room chairs) and finished up right around the estimated time. I'm always very wary with movers handling my prized possessions but I would definitely call T&C again should the need arise.

This is a very well managed and professionally run moving and storage company.  From the top down you just see people that care about what they are doing, and want to make sure you as the client are being provided the best in service and cost.  I would recommend them to anyone, and they have moved not only myself but family, friends, and neighbors.  Hope they are in business a long time, because they are good at what they do.

If I could put no stars that would be too good for this company. I have moved several times in the past 10 years and Town and Country was the worst by far. There isn't enough room to tell you all the items they dented/broken. The "foreman" wouldn't speak to me when I told them to be careful going thru the front door b/c all I could hear was bang,bang, bang against the frame because they were in such a rush. To boot because he was mad I watched the truck roar down my street to the cul de sac then he ripped around and came to a screeching halt. I contacted the owner (who is an alum of my son's school) but never heard from him.  Terrible . Call someone else.
