History

Established in 2002. The Sultans of Schlep began officially in '02 in the San Francisco Bay Area (we have an affiliate there still). The owner, however, has deep roots in the moving industry beginning in 1980: lessons learned working for other moving companies in the Boston area. We have successfully completed many thousands of moving jobs large and small.We adhere to the Mystic Eastern Method Moving Technique: careful placement of objects according to size and heft with minimal waste of non-biodegradable materials (we avoid the use of plastic wrap unless absolutely necessary). Our loads are snug, and fitted together for maximum protection. We also plan to offer reusable bins for customers soon.Our workers are professionals who take pride in doing a great job for our customers. Each of whom goes through an apprentice period before stepping up into a crew leadership position.Give us a call--we're easy to talk to!

My wife and I chose these guys and they were great.Easy to schedule. Easy to work with. Came in under time and treated all of our furniture with the utmost respect. They even noticed my wife's labeling system and thanked her for it. Would use these guys for any future move in the Philadelphia area.

I had a wonderful experience with the Sultans of Schlep from the moment I called them to after the very last box was in my new apartment. Over the phone and by email, I found the communication to be clear, and upfront, and Tom had an easy-going attitude and humor that helped calm my anxiety over the move. On the day of the move, the crew was wonderful. They worked diligently, and were very professional. I thought that their pricing was reasonable compared to other movers out there, but with a crew of 3 instead of 2, the move went incredibly quickly, which ended up making the move much less expensive than I had anticipated.

These guys were great. We moved from Philly to south Jersey and I totally recommend them. Three guys showed up with a huge truck. They did not waste any time or drag out the moving process. It was also extremely hot that day, but that did not slow them down. Prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend them!

These guys rock! The booking process was super easy. The guys who helped set up the move provided more help then simply booking. They gave advice on how to get the permits and suggestions on on what to expect.Movers- these guys were amazing. They arrived early and were happily waiting for us. Super friendly and careful with our stuff. They got done the whole pod in 3 hours!!! We were expecting 6. The guys set up our stuff as well. Tv's, beds, furniture and shelfs. No hidden fees!!! I could not have had a better experience 10/10 would use again!
