Could not have been happier about my experience with Sloane!They picked up furniture from my parents house in DC and delivered it all to my new apartment in Brooklyn, NY. They called a day in advance to discuss what was best for my schedule to deliver everything, and then even called again an hour before to make sure i was ready to have everything brought in. They were efficient, polite, and incredibly professional. Would use them again every time!thanks!

I have moved several times in the past 25 years from upstate NY to the Philadelphia area and beyond.  I always use Sloane and have never been disappointed.  The service is professional, reliable and proficient in all aspects of packing, moving and storing.  I recently had to relocate a few large and heavy furniture items within the area, but timing was paramount and new locations had space restrictions. Sloane handled the job with expert hands and items were in perfect condition when the job was finished. Sloane is the principle moving company in the area. I continue to recommend them when asked who I use for competent assistance in organizing, storing and moving items.

Sloane eliminated a ton of stress from our move and I would highly recommend their team.  Scheduling was quick and easy - I let them know of our settlement date and they assured me they would have a team of 3 for our size move.  I received a call in advance of the move confirming the date/time and to check whether I would need any additional services and/or products the day of move - the woman was professional and friendly.The moving team worked fast, were respectful of our belongings and would confirm with us when they weren't certain where to put items.  The price was more than reasonable for their time and effort and we were impressed by how quickly they finished the job. I would definitely use Sloane again for a future move!

Just got done being moved by Jeff and Zayd. Very personable, hard working young men. The move went very smoothly and I would recommend this company to others. I chose them initially because someone answered the phone there on a Saturday and they also moved me on a Saturday in sweltering heat but nonetheless did a great job and worked around my schedule. The price was also very fair.

I cannot say enough positive about Sloane's. We hired Sloane's Moving to move us from a large house to an condo. We were significantly downsizing, but were still moving into a two-story, three bedroom unit. It was further complicated because our daughter was moving into our old house, and had already moved most of her things in.  So there was 'staying,' 'going' and 'I dunno' boxes. The three movers were extremely polite, patient and careful with everything. There were stairs, and a fairly long setback from the street. In summary, they were PROMPT, CAREFUL, FRIENDLY  and REASONABLY PRICED. Would absolutely hire them again.
