Retro moving was amazing.  I called on a Friday and scheduled a move for Sunday.  They were on time, and busted their bums to get it done.  Given how hard they worked I would never have guessed I was paying them by the hour.  Now, fair warning, these are budget movers- they provide the muscle and the truck.  There are no pads and wraps.  You want those things you better provide them yourself, or hire an expensive moving company at more than double the rates (and certainly not last minute).  That being said, I had only one mild casualty in my entire move- a one inch scratch on the front of my china cabinet/bar.  I had more damage when I hired one of the big fancy movers for my last move.  These guys were awesome. And I highly recommend.

They were flexible when my moving arrangements changed especially being in a high traffic area in center city. They were very nice, fast, and on time.  Just make sure to have your own blankets and wrapping materials to protect your stuff during the move!

I honestly don't have any complaints about this company. I am giving them four stars because it is my first time hiring a moving company and there is always room for improvement. John was very diligent and very helpful over the phone when I called to get quotes. They did required a $75.00 deposit that you can do through paypal but I found it fair enough.  My move was scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and at exactly that time, John called me to apologize because the movers were running a little late (which is understandable since I was their third move of the day). The guys finally arrived around 2:00 and everything went smooth. The two guys were very nice and respectful. John had quoted me a flat rate and that's exactly what I ended up paying. Nothing more! By the time the movers got to my apartment, I had everything in boxes so they just loaded everything on the truck. They also disassembled my bed and assembled it back on the new apartment. I recommend these guys.

Awesome! Aweome!Awesome! On the day I was moving these guys did me a great favor. Another moving service was suppose to come but didn't and I called these guys at the last minute and they came within a hour and a half and help me move my things. They were very polite and easy to work with. I did help carry some things to make the process quicker but I didn't mind. Very hard working men and I would use them again!!!
