Moore Moves For Less

DO NOT HIRE MOORE MOVES FOR LESS - Unless you want to be THREATENED and have to CALL THE POLICE.

Here's my story. I confirmed my move 2 days beforehand and guess what happened the morning of my move? No one showed up. After him avoiding my calls a few times, he picked up and said he scheduled me for the wrong day (even though I confirmed 2 days ago?). So he said he would come out shortly. I waited a couple hours with no update, kept calling and texting and nothing. After finally getting through to him over the next couple hours he said he's sending some of his people out. They came 5.5 hours late! I wasted $50 on moving street permits as well as missing my move in timeframe at my building (none of which was reimbursed). The move went very slow, at one point having to show them how to fit furniture out of my place because they said it was impossible to get out (even though I moved it all in there myself).

THEN the first bad part - Half way through the move he asks me to pay, the only reason I agreed to have him still come out and move me 6 hours later was because he said he was going to deduct $80 (security deposit) from my total because he was over 6 hours late and I had personally lost over $50 already because of that. But when I went to pay he calls and tells me I'm short because he was saying "no, I said I would either reimburse your $80 and not show up, or I come (6 hours late at this point) and you pay full price". WHICH IS REDICULOUS. How am I supposed to wait 6 hours and then get a new mover to move me with 30mins notice the day of? Impossible.

Then the movers say I will have to PAY EVEN MORE MONEY because there were more boxes than his movers expected. He flat out extorted money out of me. I said I'm not paying more money for him being over 6 hours late, having to help move 25% of the boxes myself because they were so slow, having to show his movers how to do their job, and already losing $50 for the moving permits.

Then the WORST part of the day - Guess what he says to me? He says he is "GOING TO LOCK MY F*CKING SH*T IN THE TRUCK UNLESS YOU GIVE ME MORE MONEY". I read about craigslist mover scams before but didn't think it would actually happen to me. Eventually after him screaming at me on the phone and hinting to me that he knows where I live now and need to pay up. I ended up eventually just paying because I didn't want my stuff locked up for another 6 hours while the cops come and arrest everyone. Finally, after a 12 hour moving day which should have only taken a few hours in the morning, it was all over. Thankfully I strongly believe in the second amendment and have a license to carry, so I don't care if he knows where I live after reading this.

NEVER HIRE THIS GUY.

The move turned out to be more than we initially expected and these guys did an amazing job for me.  They took their time and moved all of out things without damaging anything and without complaining. I will use them again.

Scammed me out of $100 dollars. In process of going to court. He asked for advance pre payment and calls the morning of to sat his drivers got in an accident to reschedule. I didn't have time and needed to move and hired someone else. He apologized and said he would refund my money. After several texts to ask him when he was going to refund me money he stops responding . I have all the texts and will make sure he doesn't get anymore business as well as legal headaches.Do not deal with this scammer.

I live out of town and I asked Mr. Moore if he could move a very heavy piano for me my ex's house to my son's house.  Mr. Moore and I discussed things over the phone by text or calling.  I knew I was taking somewhat of a risk, by paying someone I never met before, a head of time.  I had to put my trust in Mr. Moore and he came through for me.  Now after 12 years of my ex being my ex, I don't have to deal with him anymore and it is all thanks to Mr. Moore.  Thanks a bunch!

A small move and excellent service.  We found the movers to meet our needs as they were courteous, friendly, and reliable.  We would contract them again.
