I am writing this review to express my thanks and gratitude to Marvel Movers and their outstanding employees, Ben and David. Ben and David did an exceptional job through the entire process of moving me out of my old one bedroom condo in Fairmount and into my new house in Wissohickon. They explained their assessment of how best the moving process would be done to accommodate my situation, they reviewed the key obstacles, potential issues and thoroughly reviewed all documents to make sure I was informed through all steps of my move.They were able to quickly wrap up all fragile items, carefully load all boxes and pack up/wrap my furniture with meticulous care. There were no delivery driving issues at all, prepared with driving maps and GPS directions, Ben and David arrived at my new home without a hitch.  Once there, all my items were unloaded without any damage to the walls, furniture or floors.Ben and David of Marvel Movers were superb, their professionalism, courteousness and, most importantly, their attention to detail made my moving experience a stress-free pleasure. Very helpful and considerate movers. I had an issue needing a short notice move and was not able to get a moving permit for the truck in time. Instead, they offered to drive in a car (as I only needed movers and not a truck) to help me out. My move was actually done in less time than originally quoted. I recommend them and will consider them again for my next move.

I would not use this moving company! A month prior to my scheduled move, I reached out to Marvel Movers to see if they had availability to do my move?  Randy the owner said yes.  He quickly provided me with an emailed estimate. And I contacted my apartment complex to make reservations for the service elevators to be used by the movers.  Fast forward to a six days prior to the scheduled move.  I receive an email from Marvel  Movers asking if I would  still be using them to make my move. I said yes of course! Why would they think otherwise.  They then asked if I had a confirmation number.  Well they hadn't given me one despite the phone calls and six emails we shared making plans. The did make certain to tell me that they start charging me as soon as they leave their gate vs when they show up to the move site.  They also confirmed for an 8am start and then changed to showing up between 8:30-9:00. All of this made me uneasy but I needed the muscle power they offered. Anyhow,  I was told they'd have to check their moving roster and get back to me.  They came back to me,  asking if I had made a deposit? I replied no,  your agent didn't ask me for one. Who on earth is keeping their books???By then,  I was fuming with the sheer incompetence of the company.  Had someone double booked the roster? Or had my call been taken by a novice who was less than clear on protocol? Needless to say, I cancelled and found a trusted,  professional company on Angie's List.  Still can't believe I almost got left hanging on moving day. They people seem to be a fly by night company.  Do yourself a favor and avoid the hassle. Tammie Austin

Can't thank these guys enough! I moved from Bryn Mawr to Fairmount and everything went smoothly. David, Mark, and Nail were awesome to work with. Definitely recommend Marvel Movers and will use them again :)

I moved out of my small studio apartment in center city Philadelphia to a different apartment a few blocks away but it was up 3 flights of stairs. Roman and Mark arrived and moved all my boxes out and even disassembled larger items (couches, bed, dresser, etc.) carefully and quickly. They were both friendly and respectful of all my possessions. They moved everything in to my new place and assembled everything back together, they placed things where I asked them and made sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely use them again in the future.
