I used these guys this weekend to unload a 24ft UHaul packed with furniture and boxes.  The two gentlemen drove from Philly to my house in the suburbs, about 30 miles away.  They showed up 15 minutes early, and were ready to start right away.  They handled everything with care, and did a phenomenal job.  I booked them for 2 hours, so at the 1.5 hour mark, they reminded me that there was half an hour left so they wouldn't go over the time I had asked of them.  With about 6 minutes left, I told them they could stop because the heat was exhausting and they got most of the stuff out.  But they said no, they would work right up to the 2 hour mark.  So in the last 6 minutes they hustled to unload the last remaining items.  I was very grateful.I would highly recommend these guys, and I would definitely use them again!

If you want some guys to come load your truck, drive with you to the unload location, scrape up your house and leave you with a 26' truck to unload by yourself, these are your guys! The reviews make them seem like a legitimate company; a couple years old, and some very good comments. They even email you within a couple days of making the reservation asking a bunch of questions about needs of services, number of steps, locations and so on. But that is not the case, more like a Dad and very young son team trying to make a quick buck with seemingly little experience in moving. They did show up on time but with absolutely no equipment (not even a hand truck/dolly), and without any social skills. If in 2 hours they said more than 5 words to me total that would be a lot. Honestly, though if these were the worst parts I'd say ahhhh it's livable and give them a 2.5-3 rating for average work. But when they scrape up your furniture, your newly purchased 100 year old house and ditch you for another job 10 minutes before the 2 hour mark even after you told them you would need unload and load services for 2.5-3 hours 2 weeks before the job...1 star is way too much. Next time I even think about using Green Guys again, I'll go to the local shelter and pay folks who really need the money to move me instead, they would be more qualified too.

Booked through UHaul- The team that showed up (Sam and Walter) were on time, extremely professional, and AMAZING at their job!! Where other companies had quoted me 6-9 hours to move our two bedroom South Philly house to our new three bedroom home in Mount Airy, Sam and Walter were able to load up our truck, drive the 30 minutes to our new place, and unload everything into the right rooms in just THREE HOURS!!!! They even put our boxes in the basement on their shelves and reassembled our dressers. When I say these guys work hard, I mean they WORK HARD! They were careful with our items and we haven't found any broken or damaged items. It doesn't hurt if you help out instead of watching, but whatever floats your boat, I'm sure Green Guys Moving can make your move as painless as possible!

I booked these movers through the U-Haul website when booking a moving truck. Uhaul provides a list of moving companies that correspond with the time you've booked your truck and the time the movers are available. The confirmation email said that the moving company would contact me within 24 hours, but I hadn't heard from them, so I called and had a very easy time confirming the movers for the next morning at 9:00. Two guys showed up right on time this morning (actually 5 minutes early) and got right to work. They were incredibly efficient and, and I commented to them that I could tell they were running up and down the stairs whenever they weren't carrying something! They had loaded up everything in about 45 minutes. (I didn't have a TON of stuff, but enough to fill a 1 bedroom apartment).Then we headed to the new place to unload the truck, and even though I got held up on the way there, they were incredibly accomodating about extending my reservation a bit so that there would be enough time to unload the truck. I would definitely use this company again, and I recommend them highly.

I would have given them  a 0 but that is not possible. I scheduled movers to arrive at 9am at 9.15 am no one had showed up.  I called the company and was informed that one of my movers had called out and they were looking for a replacement. They offered me a discount for the wait and would call back as soon as they found someone. Apparently they never fever found someone because after calling them back twice nobody answered the phone, responded to my voice mails or showed up for my move, which is the worsed thing you can do to someone moving on Saturday needing to find new movers.
