These are guys are great- they gave me a competitive quote. I did a lot of self moving so it was mostly just heavy furniture. They could not have been more professional. when they did the move. The job wound up coming in at the minimum guaranteed price-there was no effort to make it take longer.  I strongly recommend this company.

I used Go To Moving to move from Long Island to Chicago in June of 2017, and they were amazing! I had a very strict timeline wherein I needed my stuff to be picked up in NY and then delivered at my Chicago apartment two days later. Rob was the person I spoke with to plan the move, and of the companies I contacted, he ensured that his company could guarantee delivery in that timeframe. NO other company could make that guarantee - everyone else said it would probably happen, but my stuff would be on a truck with other deliveries, so it could also be delivered in 5 or 7 days. Go To Moving GUARANTEED delivery, and their prices were competitive with the other companies. On the day of the move, 3 guys showed up right on time and had all of my stuff moved into their truck in less than 2 hours. The main mover, Joe, was great, and he was the one who then drove my things to Chicago.Joe was waiting for me 2 days later in Chicago (with 2 different movers) and moved all of my things again in 2 hours into my new apartment. Nothing broke, everything was packed perfectly, and they were even willing to dispose of furniture that they had packed up and I couldn't use in my new apartment. The whole experience from start to finish was great! I would highly recommend them!

We used Go To Moving & Storage for a move from Staten Island to NJ (with a stopover in storage in between). GTM could not handle our storage request but were able to recommend a facility that was en route to our final destination which worked out perfectly. I worked with Eugene to arrange everything who was INCREDIBLY helpful and flexible. As we were closing on our home in Staten Island and purchasing one in NJ, the dates were not solid and were constantly shifting at the last minute. GTM worked with us every step of the way to accommodate our requests - changing our move date several times. When it came to the days of the actual move, we were super happy with the crew. I would highly recommend their services and would use them again!

It's unfortunate I couldn't give a 5 star rating because it wasn't 5 star service and I have to be completely honest about my experience. My quote was for 5 men for 8 hours and I think I would have been better off with a flat rate move because I didn't have much furniture and more of boxes and miscellaneous items. The men were very nice and professional and wrapped everything in site to the point I felt some things didn't need it and cost me extra for cardboard. I also got charged double for what a mattress bag costs in Home Depot so I suggest making sure you have enough bags because I ran short and instead of telling me, they used there's and I got charged 10 bucks a bag. It's not about the money but for the twenty nine hundred I paid, a couple of bags could have been thrown in. I felt the move took more time then it should have and ended up costing me a few extra hundred which I would rather have given to the guys as extra gratuity because it is definitely a difficult job for anyone to do. I had an in home estimate so the fact not all my stuff fit in there truck wasn't my issue and I had to pack both my cars to the windows and they sent a van for only a couple of pieces which was great they were able to send more help, but the van got to my new house before anyone and put all my possessions in the driveway and left my stuff unprotected for anyone to help themselves especially to my 600 bicycle. This really annoyed me and when I spoke to the office I was given an apology and excuses which is what I figured I would get and also deducted 50 bucks off my bill which really was a little bit of a slap in the face. In the end all my stuff was moved, some stuff wasn't reassembled by my choice or it would have cost me another few hundred and I actually feel I got overcharged because I payed about 900 more then the estimate so I feel they should have worked with me more. So the lesson is get a flat rate move and make sure you have you own materials and that you and the movers are on the same page because it also felt a little bit like bad communication.
