I only had a previously owned sectional to move but they handled it with the utmost care. Got to the destination safe sound intact. Happy with their service

2/16/17 Update!!!  Our bed that they "assembled" has completely fallen apart. What a joke!!!!!  I'm beyond frustrated STILL and it's been 9 months. So disappointing. In response to the company's response:I am confused as to what it is you're talking about. 1) we specifically said NOT to worry about items not packaged. We were going to move those unpacked items ourselves as it was literally next door.  Even if we asked you to do it, it still should not have taken 11 hours. 2) what on earth are you talking about regarding suggesting a climate controlled storage unit?  Please get your facts straight. We did not ask for anyone to clean items nor was that done. The couch issue had nothing to do with rodents or feces-- in fact it was covered in plastic. The issue was, that it was too large for our new space. But who knows. It may have actually fit into our apartment had it not been for your incompetent movers. They couldn't even figure out how to get our queen size box spring in the apt. Allllllll ya had to do was simply rotate it, which again, my husband had to show them that common sense technique. 3) $500 credit?  Please process immediately as you've never mentioned this before nor do we see it on our account. 4) I called you about missing items. One of which I luckily questioned the day of the move and your driver found it in his car. They figured it was trash yet it was an important piece to my grill. Don't just assume items are trash. I hope as the professional you repeatedly claim to be, you'll process a credit for the items that are gone. This is on top of the $500 credit that is not pending or posted on our account. Thank you for realizing we are not to blame as all issues are the fault of your company.  Again, I hope this experience helps you to make the necessary changes to better your company's reputation. Looking forward to your email/phone call to resolve.

These guys are AWESOME! I move from city to city a lot and have worked with many moving companies over the years. The hospitality, level of service and care that GMC Movers offered, definitely takes the cake. Ask for Myran... He led my moving crew and did a good job. I highly recommend!!!

This was one of the easiest moves ever! They were on time and very careful with my things. Everything arrived at my new place in tact. They even helped me repack some of my boxes when they saw it wasn't done right. I really found that helpful because I have no idea what I am doing as it relates saving space and protecting my stuff. Will definitely use them for my next move.

The moving company is still training it's employee and there's plenty that remains to be learnt. We had a damaged couch and photo frames (dropped). The owner tried to repair the couch but could not, he ended up giving us $50 for the damage. The estimates provided were almost half of what we ended up paying. The communication was good and it felt they were trying to do their best, but the experience and skills are missing for now!
