Best Moving Crew EVER!"Crazy Socks" Kendrick, Joe K,, Mike B,, Chris H,, Danny B, Can't say enough about these guys.  Super helpful, careful, polite, fast.and problem solvers.Real professionals.I'm holding at 4 stars because I think the weight/trucks were over-estimated.  Haven't gotten the final $$$ yet and I will update this post once I do.Would have been helpful if they accepted Discover, but maybe some day...

We hired Firpo to move and store our furniture while our new house was being built. As they were moving the furniture into the new house they banged it into walls(newly painted) and scratched the furniture and new hardwood floors. The bedroom furniture (just over a year old Ethan Allen) has scratches and chunks missing out of it. We also have a love sac sectional sofa that we wrapped in heavy duty clear plastic. My husband saw them slide it across the truck floor which ripped several of the bags open which left the fabric sliding across the dirty truck floor.  We documented the damage and they asked us to send them pictures. When my husband called to check in they told him that the guys who did the moving saw me kick the footboard and scratch the floor! When he told them that was untrue that he watched one of the movers do it they actually told him to go fuck himself and hung up! I am so upset I am shaking right now. We paid them thousands and thousands of dollars expecting good service.

Rodney, Jimmy and Kendrick exceeded all expectations with delivery of our furniture to our townhouse in Greenville, DE.  They were extremely professional, personable and patient throughout a very long day. We had a difficult, narrow and steep staircase they somehow maneuvered heavy and challenging pieces without making a scratch on newly painted walls.  After hauling everything into the house they expertly assembled beds, IKEA office furniture, refrigerator, etc.  Rodney and Kendrick were also part of the team that moved furniture out of our old house into storage, and they were equally professional and a pleasure to work with.

These guys are as good as it gets. If you're looking for a moving company that takes care of your things and is dependable and professional, I highly recommend Firpo/Heritage. From the front office (Sam, Paul, Warren and Mary) to the guys on the trucks, everyone I have dealt with has been a pleasure to work with.  We (myself and my family) have used this moving company since the 60s, and have never had anything but a top-notch experience. You will not be disappointed.

UPDATE:  I spoke with Paul this morning (finally got through) and he was gracious and offered to reimburse me for the repairs.  I will update again when the check is received.I added 2 stars...for now.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We had a large antique cabinet moved across the country and while they did a good job making sure the furniture wasn't damaged going through an awkward doorway the doorway did not fair as well.  The drivers were nice enough and even documented the damage to the door moulding right on the invoice. I have made 4 attempts to get the company to respond and pay for the repairs.  I've called, emailed and left messages but I've been ignored.  It won't cost more than a few hundred dollars to fix so why the cold shoulder? I would have been happy to report on all the good things that happened with this experience but I've been left with a bad lasting image of them.
