A Mastrocco Jr Moving & Storage

I did not use Mastrocco for moving, but they were supposed to deliver furniture for me (purchased through a local store) and the situation was a nightmare. You could not get a time for delivery until the morning of delivery. We finally set a date for delivery only to have them call late in the afternoon that day to say they couldn't deliver after all due to rain delays. After setting a new date, I called three times to confirm and was assured delivery would occur on the new date.  Upon calling for a delivery time that morning, however, they claimed they had no record of the new date. I still have no idea when they plan to deliver this furniture of mine that they have had for several weeks now. No one in this business seems to know what anyone else is doing or promising. I will absolutely never use them for anything.

I used this company in June 2012 for packing and moving. It was the first time I ever had a company pack for me. It was worth every penny. The guys weren't very pleasant but they did a great job.

My husband & I are beyond elated that we hired A. Mastrocco. Our neighbors use them all the time and when they arrived today to move us our neighbor immediately said "they are the best." My husband is an engineer and knows the importance of logistics, time, and money and he was beyond impressed with the movers and how efficiently they worked. They took excellent care of our furniture wrapping pieces under 22 seconds and protected all of our furniture from the rain. They work very well as a team watching each others back and were very professional & polite. They were kind enough to lift our queen bed frame with mattress so our rug could be laid down under it as I had forgotten to ask while they were putting together the bed. All of our furniture was placed in the new house exactly where we asked. We loved the strength and energy of the team. We watch every penny we spend and the cost of this move was well worth every penny. It was the most stress free move ever & we will only use A Mastrocco only in the future and already told our friends and family!

unbelievably crooked. gave us a quote then tried to charge us an extra $4000 before finishing delivery and unpacking.do not use this firm.  don't say you weren't warned.the job foreman was a nice man who said his boss did this on every job and he was always put on the spot when he was made to present the demand.my husband called mastrocco and never have you heard such screaming and raving as my husband refused to pay and held the phone away from his ear as we three stood listening.  my husband said quietly--he's a calm man--you'll give yourself a heart attack if you carry on like that. surely you are an experienced estimator if you have been in business for so many years: so you are either incompetent or crooked. my husband put the phone down.  we had been laughing with incredulity at the bad language mastrocco was shouting (he even threatened my husband).  at that point the foreman, who was a sweet guy, gave my husband a hug!  he said this was the day he had been waiting for, and he himself had had enough and he was going back to quit his job on the spot.
