Makes the moving process painless with the app. It reminds me of the ease of using Uber. Also, super professional, great customer service - I had to make a last minute adjustment on my move-out time and it was no problem.Highly recommend Zootly! Was overwhelmed by moving options since it was my first move in NY (was going from Astoria to Bed Stuy) but relieved I went with these guys.

The concept is great. The execution is lacking. I scheduled a 3:30 pm move. It's 5:00 pm and I'm still waiting on my mover to arrive. Very, very disappointing.Once the movers arrived they did an incredible job. They were quick, professional and knowledgeable. I would use this service again, but schedule for a day when I don't have other things to do, as I did today.

Very disappointed - I'm having a stressful move and someone recommended I use this service. I was quoted some outrageous prices by other moving companies and then found Zootly. I filled in all my information, including my credit card info and where I was moving to and from. I got an e-mail back from them 1 day later saying they don't service NYC anymore (even though their address is in flatiron). I basically lost a day because they were unable to take the time to update their information.

Put in order on a Monday for a Friday night move. Received a message tonight that they are booked until until next week sometime. Not sure why it took them two days to figure out they are booked for awhile?

I used Zootly to do a very small move of one bedroom from Harlem to Washington Heights. Had booked it the morning of the move for 1pm. It took a while for the order to be processed and I was slightly worried. Had called them up to find out what was going to happen with it and was told I would get a call in regards to the confirmation, but didn't and just got an email instead.By 1:15pm the movers still hadn't arrived so I called to find out what was going on. Was told I'd be called back with information. At 1:30pm I called back again and was told they were going to be late and would be closer to 2:15pm and that the movers would call me. About 1:45pm I got a call from the movers saying it would be around about 2:45pm before they got there. I understand there was crappy weather and that this is out of the hands of Zootly due to the fact that the movers are outsourced, but their customer service is incredibly poor. The person on the phone just sounded irritated and annoyed, was reasonably rude in regards to dealing with everything, and when someone says they'll call back with information you would expect a call back.It's the little things like not putting a customer on hold while you check with the movers and find out an ETA and then go back to the customer without attitude, or even an apology for the difficulties that would have made this a better experience. The movers themselves were really lovely guys, very professional and hard-working, aside from the nearly 2 hour delay on moving. I really had no issue with them at all. It's pretty clear though that they don't train the guys to use the driver app as it wasn't explained to me at all that I could have just used the app to tip them and I'd already signed and clicked ok before I noticed it on the screen. That sort of basic training for anyone that they provide as a mover would have been beneficial. I'd suggest looking at contacting smaller movers within NYC as issues with customer service and with the App itself (like not being able to see where your movers are when they're on the way, a really simple coding thing to do between their driver app and your user app) really made this a crappy experience for me.
