LOVE LOVE "You Move Me!"  The guys who came in were professional and affable.  They took care of all of my needs including disassembling some of my furniture and putting them back together at the new place.  Everything was carefully wrapped and handled with care.I would recommend them to all of my friends.  Smoothest move I've ever had.

We had a terrible experience with You Move Me, our worst by far.  The customer service while booking and planning the move was really great.  The team showed up about an hour late and within the first hour suggested the move might take two days, which is ridiculous, we had more boxes than I estimated but maybe an extra hour or two more...nothing that shouldn't be doable that day.  In short the crew was inefficient and slow, they lacked a good process and really didn't seem motivated.  In order to get the job done that day I rushed home from work and started taking beds and table apart myself, then at the destination moved boxes left outside while they did a second run (truck not full the first time).  After 11 hours (estimate was 5), we let them leave and had to build beds and reassemble all our furniture ourselves.  Needless to say our experience was brutal and I wish it on no one.

I'm updating to let everyone know that the owner contacted me via Yelp and offered to pay me to take down my review.  This is probably why the business has so few negative reviews:  it pays to remove them.  I have screenshots of our communication if anyone is interested.  I cannot recommend this company.  My original experience with them was terrible but they've proven themselves to be shady and underhanded too.I see that the owner has stated his side of events so now I'm forced to post screen shots.

Have never really needed a moving service before as most of the times I've moved it's just been small boxes or light furniture that I could handle on my own.  This time around my mother was looking to donate my sisters old beds to a coworker.  The beds were huge Amish made solid oak beds with drawers underneath.  They barely fit into her house and i knew it was too much for a friend and I to handle.  I had heard good things about You Move Me from a coworker and I called up for a quote.  I really thought this was going to be an expensive move as it required disassembly of the beds and then the move from Queens to Manhattan.  Cameron the manager at You Move Me was honest and helpful every step of the way, most notable including his flexibility in getting a crew out to the house hours earlier than planned with only 1 days notice.  On the day of the move the guys did get a little bit lost finding our address, but hey Queens can be tricky.  They showed up only a few minutes outside of the scheduled arrival time and quickly got to work.  I'd say we had everything loaded on the truck in about an hour.  Pricing came in right around a local moving company I called, but I felt the level of service and the attentiveness to detail warranted paying a little bit more.  You get what you pay for, right?  Overall a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use You Move Me for a larger scale move.

This is the second time I have used this company and I was again very happy with the service. They packed everything up safely and made my life so much easier. Moving is so stressful! So, to me, You Move Me is totally worth every penny. Thanks guys!
